my name is jumo bynoe my singing name now is justice but formally i use to be known as lugzury those days i use to imitate bounty killer,for the record i give my self those singing names, i was born on 11 april 1983 in st vincent and the grenadines which is in the caribbean, my dad is a singer so i was expose to music at an very early age, music from singers like stevie wonder,percy sledge,ray charles dolly porton,kenny rogers,ottis redding,bob marley, bunny wailer,peter tosh,garnet silk,culture,lucky duby,sanchez,third world,steel pulse,nat king cole,elvis presley,temptations,boyz 2 men,mariah carey,baby face,kevin cambell,celene dion,elton john,luther vandross,sizzla,capleton,teddy pendergrass,barry white,cocoa tea,everton blender,freddie mcgreggor,gregory issacs,etc i actively start to record in studios and perform on stage at the age of sixteen,i open shows for artist like jah cure ,everton blender,sizzla,junior kelly,norris man,elephant man,serani,erupt,baby cham ,left eye,etc;my aim for the the music is to inspire people and give them courage,knowledge,and determination cause while i was growing up music help me out a lot spiritually and mentally.life for me as an artist is very challenging but i love it because thats what i love to do sing and inspire people and no matter what come my way i will always be singing it is my life.i compose all of my own songs, i was doing that since i was around 14 ,15.right now i dont limit my self i am gonna sing all type of music is just i am going to keep the lyrics clean and spiritual,headucational,inspirational and motivational

In the early 90’s, when gangsta’ rap consumed the airwaves, and the majority of West Coast rappers strapped on their Locs, Chuck Taylor’s & Ben Davis’, The Pharcyde decidedly maintained a willfully weird vision. 

Opting to stay true to themselves with their left field but still South-Central sensibility, rap had seen few groups so self-deprecating and so smart, a group of visionary rappers adroitly able to split the difference between helium-voiced and hard-core.

Listening to “Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde” two full decades after its release, its sense of timeliness is unmistakable. Every song on the album inverts a hoary hip-hop cliché. With classics like “Oh Shit,” “Otha Fish”, “Ya’ Mama,” and hit single, “Passing Me By,” it is not surprising that it shipped over a million units, garnered comparisons to De La Soul and Tribe Called Quest, and everyone from Pitchfork Media to The Source has hailed it as one of the greatest albums ever made. 

Speaking on the passage of time, their second release “LabCabInCalifornia” has revealed exactly how far-reaching The Pharcyde’s vision was. From enlisting a young and then unknown James Yancey aka J DILLA to produce beats, the classic “Runnin” to collaborating with director Spike Jonze (“Being John Malkovich” “Adaptation”) on the video for “Drop,” it has consistently reinforced their steadfast refusal to tread familiar artistic grounds.

Today, The Pharcyde is still performing and touring the globe. They continue to hone their individual abilities yet carry on the name & legacy in its original fashion. They still seduce their audience with the same boyish charm that founded them at the beginning. Now, it’s combined with the knowledge that has been bestowed upon them as men who have taken on, and rose to the challenge of the rap game. 

The end result of all this hard work is a band that’s still influencing the hip hop artists and sounds crowding our radio waves today and will continue to for many years to come.

Born in 1974 and raised in Egion where he started working as a dj at the age of fourteen.
In parallel to djing, he delves into production as an artist and co founder of Cast-a-Blast in 2006. Along with Blend Mishkin he forms the duet Palov and Mishkin, launching the compilation “Backslam Extravaganza” (2007). They then went on to release the widely praised album “Think Twice” (2009) while at the same time remixing and editing for highly acclaimed labels such as G.A.M.M., Rebtuz,  Resense, Bastard Jazz, Tru Thoughts ,Love Monk etc.
Since then Palov went on to release his debut solo “Whats That” revealing the smooth musicianship between him and the guitarist player Angelos Angelides. Within as well outside the framework of this partnership he forged production and remixing collaborations with several artists including Caro Emerald , Mo’ Horizons, Lady Faye ,Maraveyas Illegal, Daniela Bolano, Kill Emil and BNC.Nowdays he’s collaborating with Panama Cardoon and together they’re running a label called Carnibal.
Actively djing all this time he has shared the decks with well known djs/producers like Quantic, Andy Smith, Bonobo, Nickodemus ,Lack of Afro ,Florian Keller, Jon Kennedy ,Henry Storch ,Ben Lamdin ,7Samurai, Herbaliser ,Tm Juke , Mo’Horizons , Rob Luis  to name a few.

Act One, the debut full-length from songwriting duo Marian Hill, was written and produced in its entirety by Jeremy Lloyd (music/lyrics/production) and Samantha Gongol (music/lyrics/vocals). The multi-talented duo, who have been collaborating in one form or another since high school, have shifted the classic paradigm of a woman on a stage and a man with a piano to a woman on a mic and a man with a laptop -- and the results are seductive and vivid. Tempting paradox with a blend of blues and bass, acoustic and digital, classic and modern, Marian Hill have arrived.

Two years ago Sam and Jeremy wrote and recorded “Whisky” over spring break in Jeremy’s parents’ basement. When they released it for free on Soundcloud later that summer it was the only song they’d written for the project, and in a little over a year’s time they had recorded their first EP in a bedroom, amassed millions of plays on various platforms, sold out shows across the country and featured in high profile commercials. They signed to Republic Records in early 2015, released the Sway EP, and settled in to write and record their debut album over the course of the following year with a plan to push their unique sound to its fullest potential.

For the first 50 seconds of “Down” you might think you’re at a supper club in the 1920s, but when the bass drops out of nowhere you couldn’t be anywhere but 2016. Act One then takes you on a journey through the complexities of modern relationships, with each song inhabiting a specific and charged relationship lyrically, melodically, and sonically. “I Know Why” constantly transforms and reinvents itself as the vocals grapple with a secret while “Mistaken” is the hardest of sax trap with a classic songwriting backbone. “Same Thing” is the saddest part of the album, a haunting ballad depicting serene resignation of a doomed relationship, but castanets rise from the ashes as “I Want You” closes out the night in a pure moment of optimistic electricity, a glance across a crowded room that changes everything.

Marian Hill’s one of a kind sound is present throughout — blues harmonies blend with sparse hip hop drums, horns blast under classic vocal melodies, and soloistic vocal chops sit side by side with clear, intimate lyrics. You’ve never heard this before, yet it’s surprisingly familiar. And it’s only the beginning.
