We are excited to announce the new season of The Healthcare Hustle Podcast! In our January episode, Brandon & I sit down with the Association of Asian Healthcare Leaders, including Jennifer Ho (Johns Hopkins), Edward Lai (Emory Healthcare), Andrew Ngyuen (Kaiser Permanente), and Alyssa Na (Mayo Clinic), to discuss our perspectives on how culture and identity influence leadership, and why it is critical to develop pipelines for the next generation of leaders of color. 

In reflection, we hope that through conversations like this, we normalize advocating for health equity, in any space, for all identities for generations to come.

We are excited to share the second episode of The #Healthcare Hustle #Podcast  featuring Marcus Howard, founder of GreaterHealth #Pharmacy & #Wellness, a culture-focused pharmacy startup that aims to improve #health outcomes in #StLouis for communities of color. Nygel and I had a great time chatting with Marcus, hearing about his journey from St. Louis public schools to UNC Chapel Hill, and of course starting a #Blackowned pharmacy in his hometown. 

Marcus’s commitment and compassion for serving his #community is truly inspiring and is a reflection of the values of many of the historical figures we highlight during #BlackHistoryMonth. We hope that this conversation can serve to motivate others to continue to pursue their dreams while modeling servant #leadership.
