Surge Sounds designs innovative samples and presets for producers around the world.

Since starting production in 2005, music by Alex Hudish (Plusquam Records, Ecstasy Records, Lemongrassmusic) and side-project Around Midnight (Lemongrassmusic) is usually filed under Chillout, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Ambient, World, Downtempo, Electronic or Lo-fi. 

 But despite the range of sub-genres, it can be simply described as music with atmospheric, melodic flow. It takes you for a trip without words... music to let you fall in love over and over again... wake up on the right side of the bed... smile for no reason... just because we can.

11 years of music production and more than 30 releases later, compilations with Alex's tracks are available both in stores and in digital format on Beatport, Amazon and iTunes, Google Play, Xbox Music, and many more.

 "I draw inspiration from minimalism, nature, simple things and from intelligent electronic music. Our generation is so fast-paced, inter-connected and multi-tasking, that we all sometimes need to simply sit back and let go. that's where my music comes in. 
 A great part of my life has been dedicated to describing different themes in sound and music. I've focused on electronic chillout music after falling in love with the enchanting grooves of Air, Sigur Ros and Mum, Royksopp and The Knife, Zero 7 and many others. I draw inspiration from these artists and my listeners, when they enjoy my work. 
 A big thanks goes to producers, dj's, radio show hosts, label managers, and other musicians and fans that share the same passion for Chillout music as myself."

Formada em Viamão no RS, a banda Sonhos Elétricos surgiu dos escombros de projetos anteriores dos integrantes do duo , o som navega pelas sonoridades do rock, com um som pesado cheio de nuances e  da intensidade sombria do pós-punk. Com uma rica tapeçaria de influências que ecoam desde a seminal força do Black Sabbath e a crueza dos Stooges, passando pelos Beatles e a sonoridade densa e Melvins, a banda forja um som direto, pesado e visceral. Essa característica se intensifica ainda mais ao vivo, onde as músicas ganham uma carga extra de energia e urgência.
Desde o seu início em 2020, o projeto Sonhos Elétricos tem se dedicado à criação e gravação de material autoral, apresentando seu trabalho ao público através do lançamento singles. As letras da banda mergulham nas complexidades do cotidiano e nos intrincados conflitos das relações humanas.
Através de um som impactante, a banda almeja criar, mesmo que por um instante, uma conexão profunda entre a música e quem a escuta, sempre desafiando o ouvinte ao misturar sonoridades e estilos musicais.

Trabalho há 10 anos como designer, já participei de projetos para sites, material de divulgação impresso, eventos corporativos, entre outros. Com larga experiência, aliada ao conhecimento gráfico, a partir de 2014, me especializei na criação de toda a comunicação visual para DJs, como fotos, logotipos, artworks e ID. 

Procuro sempre me manter atualizado no mercado, para oferecer novos conceitos e interatividade aos meus clientes.
