Wu Qi (around 440 BC - 381 BC) was a soldier, politician, and military thinker during the Warring States period of China. Along with Sun Wu and Sun Zhi, he was also a highly capable person in Chinese history.
All of the countries Wu Qi ally on were the strongest nations of that era. However, every country he was affiliated with was jealous and ended up being disliked.
Furthermore, behind Wu Qi's policy, strong resentment from the nobles whose authority was slashed was directed at Wu Qi.
At the end, a coup d'etat broke out, and Wu Qi was shot through with King Moe's body and died.

吴起（约公元前440年 - 公元前381年）吴起是中国战国时期的一位士兵、政治家和军事思想家。与孙武和孙子一起，他在中国历史上也是一位能力出众的人物。吴起游历过魏、鲁、齐和楚等国。他所依靠的所有国家都是当时最强大的国家。然而，他所涉及的每一个国家都十分嫉妒，最终都与他决裂。此外，吴起的政策背后，对于削弱权力的贵族们产生了强烈的怨恨，他们将这种怨恨指向了吴起。最后，发生了政变，吴起被楚穆王刺杀而亡。也许他的不幸在于，他一生中没有一个可以投奔的主子。
