More than 30 years ago, I went to a concert of a band from the neighbourhood. If memory serves, they played a tune called "Tanz der Spurrillen" - a stub of which I vaguely remember. Or so I think. That stub now became the theme of this piece.

Losing Control

Yeah, this song is basically me having a full mental breakdown, but, like, in a fun way. It’s that feeling when your brain is short-circuiting, reality’s lagging, and you’re just standing there like, “Yep, this is fine.” The lyrics are kinda unhinged on purpose—half existential crisis, half cartoon logic.

I wanted it to feel like a computer crashing, like beep boop, goodbye sanity. One second you’re holding it together, the next you’re talking to the walls and questioning existence. But instead of fixing anything, you just embrace the chaos and dance through the meltdown.
