Big Yes Day” came from one of those bizarrely good mornings where everything felt like it was cheering me on. I wanted to capture that surreal, silly optimism—like when your toast flies and somehow it’s a victory. It’s not deep, it’s just a celebration of weird little wins and how they stack into something joyful. The song wrote itself like a goofy poem on a trampoline. Honestly, it’s just about saying “yes” to the weird magic in everyday stuff

How bout some bread & butter?

Goop mayonnaise and Kraft on bread for some cheese on white.
Naw naw naw, hold up, wait a minute.
Or maybe a few more minutes to soggy some Ramen.

Cotton candy, sugar, go.
Let me see that tootsie roll.
Not that kind from 94.
Stuff for your sweet tooth, not the dance floor.
Eat about a bag for desert.
Top it with some nice sweet tea for your toppest tummy hurt.

Turn on the Telly to watch some tunes.
Turn my brain to mush, make the kids act like buffoons.
Little folks in a daze, parent be weary.
Zonin out listening to the sounds of Tom & Jerry.
Woody woodpecker is always good for a laugh.
Keep my eyes glued, isolate from riff raff.
Back in the day before mind was crowded with work.
Couldn't wait to get out of school and watch the Cartoon Network.

Marry poppins teachin chitlins kindness and imagination.
Provided an escape from life's animation.
Parachuting with an umbrella through the sky.
Beats like one man band Bert got that steppin time.
Time to hit the bed rest pillow on the soiled rug.

Brain fart.
Suckin on my melon like a sweet tart.
Brain pain soaring off the charts.
Chuckin words from my brain stem, boring are these thoughts.
Often times I wonder if I'm crazy or not.
Impulses jumping off synapse cliff a lot.
A mob of suicidal neurons scream from atop my highest spot.

My noggin's where I'm loggin these foggy thoughts that keep me boggin out.
Pouty faced, chillin by the window where I wait,
And watch,
Occasionally pacing the floor.
It's gettin kinda late.
Day has faded and I still haven't turned on the lights.

A few more hours till the script re flips.
I lick my chapped lips anticipating the feast.
A meet and greet with my favorite friends to eat.
A box of Buzz drops into a bowl with ooze from glands.
Drizzle on some syrup from the little bear man.
Mix it with some metal and guzzle it down my muzzle.

Funny how these words keep stumblin.
Imagination rumbles as it wonders what comes next.
Fill it with some fuel, keep the text running strong.
My turbocharged smart car full of lard song.
A faulty spark from a screwy plug misfires as I cut the electric wire powering this creative desire.

This fire that burns within cannot be snuffed.
Left over right, I keep climbing up.
Racing rock em sock em cerebral hemispheres for the cup.
All that stands between them is this groove.
Smooth as a river flowing down my vertebrae.
Laying in a bed of ideas thrown away.
Faded is my train of thought as I begin to sway to the beat.
Heat floods my body as my heart starts to race.
Great vibrations from the small speaker on the sill.
Tingling ears, drums begin to cheer.

Sleepy time now, one hell of a spell.
Eyelids swell,
heart rate fell,
Waters run deep where they are still.
Pop a melodic pill and slip into a coma.

Brain Fart

Cruisin round town,
never know what's going down.
Stop at a spot,
I don't know whereabout.
Sweating in the back seat,
chokin on the heat.
Boredom goes and puts foot to floor,
Brain does the same.
Cerebrospinal tide rises as images run wild through my skull.
Eyes full of dreams,
Feeling half past baked.
Dreaming awake,
data stream beamed from some place outer space.

(Daydream)
In enters ninja to fix this messy mix up.
A man in black who's always got my back.
Moving fast he attacks in slow motion.
Floats through air like he swimmin in the ocean.
Enemy's respect,
gravity has no effect.
Parkoring hardcore whatever obstacle comes next.
Chopping with his Hanzo sword random objects.
Stabs blade in the ground and finds a shady tree to rest.

Air becomes stale,
Ninja's face turns pale.
From the sky fly's from smog Vaudevillain Frog!
Lands with a boom,
Ninja thinks he's doomed.
Little did he know,
Frog just landed on his sword.

Just a child was I,
Running from reality's headaches as time flew by.
Sometimes I wonder if it was a mistake.
Outer self auto pilot, inner great escape.
