“This mix is a selection of Polish songs from the 90s and early 2000s. I also included one song from my upcoming album "Obraz" which will be released by Bordello A Parigi and my own imprint, Joint Account, on May 14th. I started writing the album at my grandmother's house in Warsaw before bringing it back to mine and my partner John O'Regan's home studio in Toronto for some touch ups. Our friends and neighbours Mark and Matt Thibideau provided the analog mixdown and Stefan Betke mastered and cut the lacquer at his studio in Berlin. I hope you enjoy the mix!” - Szaio

Afrofuturist, London born and of Yoruba descent, seigfried komidashi is anarcho-Blackness, experimentation and exploration.

komidashi works with nature, sound, and space; immersing himself in a process of learning and unlearning, drawing inspiration from the beauty and chaos of the world around us.

A classically trained saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist, his artform began to take shape when he saw musical notations come to life on and off the page, introducing him to the idea of playing with classical forms and transforming them into something otherworldly.

@thejoshcraig traveled down to Washington DC leaving his hardware filled NYC recording studio for a special night in one of his favorite nightclubs in the country, Flash DC. The dance floor was packed. The sound system was pumpin. The people were beautiful and jackin to every beat. 

2+ hrs of Soulful Techno, Deep House, Acid and Electro mixed seamlessly. With a few unreleased original tracks plus some Detroit classics and international bombs sprinkled throughout the night, this is one of those mixes you play over and over again.

There's a focus on ambient music at the start, both modern as well as a dive into some classic Jon Hassel and Hiroshi Yoshimura. There's also a track from an Estonian handbell ensemble that we listened to a lot when we were all sharing a house together over 10 years ago. Then there’s some of the music we have been involved in making, Szun Waves and we’ve put one of our own tunes in there.
