Poppy Reels

Hey!
This is something i recorded very quickly using nothing else only my fiddle and a microphone on garageband. There are no effects, just some reverb and EQ on the fiddle. The reel is a donegal tune called Seamus Gibsons (I think) and ive played around with some bluegrass licks and chops. Hope you like it! I recommend using headphones or play it through speakers,

This set comes from Asturias, a Celtic region of Northern Spain which boasts a wealth of great dance music. Co. Down musician Micky McCluskey learned these tunes from the Asturian group Llan de Cubel and brought them to the table while playing bouzouki with us.
