I was born without a name, just that of my mother and father. Brought into a world of mystery and unknowingly. From the moment I exited the womb is when I became truth. I tasted oxygen, heard sound, voices howling with joy and relief, it was much clearer than the muffled sounds around me. I had only known the rhythm of mothers humming heart. My head was cradled with care as I was gently pulled away from where I incubated, the first phase of my remembering. It was long after that I heard my very own voice screaming, it was so load that it forced me to open my eyes. It was then that everything came together. All of my senses working together, simultaneously. 
I believe music to be much more than the orchestration of music, but more of an awareness of the rhythms and sound around you and inside of you. It is vibrations and frequency’s, chaos, and silence. It is Nature in its natural form, engulfing all of us. Inviting us to be expressive and to replicate the feelings and emotion’s, and the imaginative mind. To gift a little piece of our divinity to the world and our people. Music is the most powerful of creations, for it inspires, motivates, energizes us to be, to continue life. It empathizes with us and nurtures us so we can alleviate the loneliness that we all experience. There is an infinite abundance of it! Every second of every minute, 365. There it is, either being heard or created. So when you ask what my influences are, it’s everything, everyone, every cell in my body, every heart break, memory shared. It’s the human experience that influences my music, my art, my life. I come from a Hispanic family. Yet I’m coming to learn that my roots reach deeper and further, spanning all around the world. It became clear at a young age that my taste in music was ever evolving. Every bit of my ancestral background has been stamped in my DNA, and has become part of my journey. Lifetimes I have been in this world and every life I have lived I believe pulls me to the music of their culture and period of existence. 
I hope that you understand me in a much deeper and personal level. Like I said before I was born with no name, so today I have decided to name my self. Azriel Qamar Luz Garza and I Am and Belong to what we know as The Family of Light.
