Which date could be better to release a fundraiser set I’ve played for my Mexican Mayan Warrior fam than the week where we would normally stroll over the playa in Nevada. I can tell I miss it a lot and can’t wait to return next year properly. 
This set got recorded a month ago in NYC with the full art car at the Brooklyn Mirage. It was a hot and rainy summer night, with a pretty magical vibe and so spectacular with all the lasers & fire. We had a little blackout at the end caused by the heavy rain which soaked all of us and of course the equipment too but this made it even more special.

The Virtues Of Loss is the result of profound revelations, which came along a self-healing journey into the dark.  Bringing this down unders mix to life became a creative guide that helped us find a spark of light to navigate the path in trust once again. And so, we felt inspired to translate all the wisdom we learned into 5 hours of musical landscapes to spread that brightness to all those wounded hearts ready to embrace healing.   

We are ALL letting go of someone, something, or somewhere … most of the time, even letting go of an identity within ourselves. 

Let’s inspire each other by sharing our gifts as we navigate high tides. Raising the sail is not a one man’s job; we are in this together.

Huge thanks to White Ocean for making one of my dreams a reality. This year was my very first Burn… And if you met me on the playa, you know how much fun I had! For those who know me well, this experience was really powerful. I discovered a new part of myself, artistically and socially. And this set at White Ocean was very special. I was supposed to play a 3 hours live set but for many reasons I wasn’t able to do so…  So I improvised a kind of hybrid set remixing and editing some tracks in live. I had never done such a thing before and it was totally insane! Right after I started a big dust storm hit the playa and we couldn't see a thing but it was unbelievable! So epic! The crowd was insane! It probably was the craziest set in my entire life! I will never forget this one. There is so much to say… Just be there.

The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. 

One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive. A time to reflect:
Possibly THE most powerful factor of Burning Man is that we all get covered with the same dust and the same great challenges to truly BE present. Black Rock City and her elements are bigger than any of us, ALL OF US, and she has something to show you.  It is not until you're stripped away from your comfort and 'normalcy' that we become truly one.  Infusion of music and the many sacred spaces connect us. Suddenly, all that was designed to make us feel divided comes crashing down; blurred into total insignificance, as the moments grow increasingly PURE and RAW, give us unlimited POTENTIAL.  

This same wakeup call is happening for all of humanity to see and feel right now, as our Earth attempts to mend, and show us how delicate and singular we truly are as a human race.

We encourage you to use this time wisely and keep the vibrations high and the music loud.  Now, we are together more than ever, despite our physical distance. Allow yourself to reprogram to your fullest potential; resist programming.  Take notice of the air and the water clearing up all around you.  Let the music flow and we will see you soon around The Kazbah.  Promise us that! 🌎❤️🙏🏼

Sabo & Goldcap Live at The Kazbah | Part 2/2 | Burning Man 2019

Dear friends, It's been a while since I've shared new music and recordings. Nonetheless, I have been spending extensive love on curating my music collection and fortunate enough to share glimpses of it in intimate gatherings during this pandemic. This recording was captured after closing for my friend Satori in one of the most breathtaking cenotes I have played at in beautiful Mexico. Its caretakers have treated this sacred land with the utmost respect and live in complete synchronicity with its surroundings, the local communities, and the ethos they live by. I've fallen in love with this location and its family. 

It took me a little bit to get in the groove, but I found it. 
Enjoy this one as much as I did and I hope we can do more of this together very soon in our new post-pandemic reality. Would love to hear what you feel.. I have a lot more to share.
