Centered around soaring melodies and virtuosic guitar playing the "Ben Eaton Trio" are a must see live force. Rounded out by Chris Gilbert on bass and Michael Grabbe on drums this experienced and versatile group combine the music of blues, jazz, soul and funk into a heady mix delivered with high energy and foot stomping beats. After launching the EP "Life gets in the way" at the 2008 Noosa Jazz Festival the boys have built a strong following off the back of stunning live showcases.  Their second EP “The Hunger” quickly shot to No 1 on the Reverbnation alternative charts for Queensland in February, even before its release in June 2011,  and has been there ever since. After a successful solo tour of Germany and England in July 2011 to support the release of “The Hunger” and explosive sets at the Blues on Broadbeach and Noosa Jazz festivals in 2012, this dynamic live act is set to deliver another powerhouse album in early 2013. The boys deliver every performance in the spirit of high energy and experimentation with no 2 shows the same!

Expanding beyond the blues, Jimi Beavis has delved into the depths of soul, gospel, country and rock n roll in his highly anticipated second album Post-Apocalyptic Love Songs - to be released on June 10.

Jimi has been writing songs for more than half his life after becoming obsessed with music of all sorts in his teens. Now an experienced performer and songwriter he is about to release his second album Post-Apocalyptic Love Songs. It is full of the same energy of his passionate, sweaty live performances and punctuated by the superlative musicianship of his groove-laden, horn-driven band and his own harmonica-blowing mastery.

The new album is not content with the usual women and drinking tropes that consisted of his debut Gentleman Giant (2013). Jimi has jammed probing fingers into more eccentric areas of narratives in song that accompany the American-Australian Gothic and the possible apocalypse - anti-heroes that kill and cheat, strangers who love, deathbed requests for cannibalism, jolly odes to dying and persecuted refugees, the facade that hides the lonely famous and our mortality.
