‘One Last Monsoon’ was primarily recorded in the songwriter’s (David Abraham) bedroom - an apt environment for an album, which essentially sounds like a love letter to the Indie & Alternative genres from a boy who spends his time locked up in a room with his countless records. Each song, layered in rich melodies and gorgeous harmonies, hints at an ever-growing list of artists spanning from almost every sub-genre of Alternative/Indie imaginable. 

A few that come to mind: Matt Pond, Feeder, Tokyo Police Club, 31 Knots, Soundgarden, the Stills, Team Sleep, Drill Team, Chevelle, Noel Gallagher, Longwave, Minus the Bear, the Foals, Hey Mercedes, Stone Temple Pilots, Swervedriver, the French Kicks.
