Also the singer of the rising band Cousin Kula, Elliot Ellison created Tamasene as his opportunity to explore the introspective dimension of his music. ' Tough to Chew ' embodies this will perfectly. Delicately mastered, as the song progresses, it wraps us in a big quilt of reassuring synthesizer and guitar on which he carefully displays his emotions.
