As with many love songs, once the general vibe of the track is changed towards a darker side, one is left with an uneasy feeling and it’s clear the lyrics portray an unhealthy obsession. “I’m high on believing you’re in love with me” doesn’t sound like a love that runs both ways.”

With one million streams of their latest EP, the Swedish tastemaker label House Music With Love returns with a hot new release. Like we Do is a collaboration between the Spanish producer Marat Mode (HMWL/Crossings) and the Swedish artist and songwriter The Land Below out of Malmö, Sweden, who has been focused on cinematic dream pop since 2015 and turned out four albums, two EPs and several collaborations. He wrote both the lyrics and sings on this excellent track. 

He says, ”Like We Do is a song of sorrow and hope. A collaboration that came easy as Guillermo’s beat felt natural and resonated with me. The words are inspired by the dialogue of a movie that Guillermo had seen, so it feels like we both a part to play there.”

The Land Below is Erik Lindestad from Malmö, Sweden. Formerly a member of Stockholm duo Wild At Heart, he continues with a love for electronic beats and dreamy layered vocals. The Land Below first appeared with a cover of The Presets "This Boy's In Love". Last year saw the release of both an EP and his debut album on swedish label Hybris Recordings. His song "Don't Trust The Rain" is featured in the 2016 movie "The Model" from Zentropa Entertainments. 

New album "Whatever comes, we'll hold the line" out June 7 2019.
