EKKO have been playing together for 5 years now. Their sound is constantly developing, a blend of Alternative rock that delves into the realms of post, progressive and psych rock.

After being chosen to support The Brian Jonestown Massacre on their Australian tour, the band released their debut EP in June 2018. Recorded in Nth Melbourne's Newmarket Studio's in October 2017 the 3 track EP ebbs and flows in and out of many moods and genre's. The songs are explorative and each build to a climax, as does the EP as a whole; from the stripped back guitar and two voice intro of opener Tigerlily, until peaking amidst the chaos of final track Devilish's post rock outro.

Influenced sounds from the grunge greats naming Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Silverchair and local legends, Violent Soho. True to the classic four piece, one bass, two guitars, several drums and the roar of a lion down Wenner's throat, expect a wall of sound and an inescapable urge to get involved. They've played radio events, hotels, pizza parlors and bars; with regular gigs and a growing fan base, this regular band has shown anything but regular effort. A (previously) constant update of fan favourite songs in new and refreshing but true to their roots music videos keeps their fans satisfied and they can only release so many EPs before it's time for an album. A versatile sound keeps their live shows 'alive'.

Roses In Hand are a quirky underground duo that has a propensity for writing hook-heavy, relatable tunes that linger.
For a few years now, the pair have been developing their direct and edgy style, pulling inspiration from a variety of genres. They are currently delivering a fresh new sound of gritty electro-pop, with the first single "Paradise" released in December 2021.

The search for a permanent 4th member (lead guitar as Robbie transitioned to bass) didn't stop Just Breathe from entirely self-producing two singles and playing an exhaustive number of shows all over Sydney and the Central Coast in early 2016. Having now found solidarity in newest recruit, Shredward Knapman, the band are rapidly tearing up every venue they can get their funk-ridden hands on.

Taking out Macquarie University's battle of the bands in September 2016 saw Just Breathe open the main stage at RE:Conception - a reboot of the iconic 'Conception Day', alongside San Cisco and Thelma Plum.
A further high-profile festival appearance at Party In The Paddock, Tasmania in February 2017 sparked further momentum, which saw the release of the new single, Fader and a support slot for a sold-out Metro theatre show with The Vanns for Vivid 2017.

Loaded with a new EP in the works (produced by Blake Wares) and a blistering live set - there are literally no brakes on the Just Breathe train.

ML evoke the fuzziness of 90s alternative rock with the clarity of contemporary pop, and place everyday observations in a stadium rock context. It’s a magic formula that has seen them tour with the likes of Ride, Mitski, Dream Wife, Waax, Sly Withers, Midnight Oil, and Camp Cope in their native Australia. 

Their EP Do You Know Enough? drew the attention of US label Father/Daughter who released it stateside along with singles ‘Good’ and ‘Carrie (I Want a Girl)’, the latter of which was famously featured in the US Netflix revival of Dynasty. 2021 saw the release of their debut album Something Like This But Not This release of their debut album Something Like This But Not This released via beloved indie label Farmer & The Owl, following on from appearances at Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Spilt Milk and Groovin The Moo.

Australian Guitar Magazine once described Rachel Maria Cox as “the perfect blend of panic and disco”, and their latest single Say You Love Me is the same amount of panic, but now with 50% more disco!

After a pandemic-induced hiatus from live performance, RMC is back with a new alt-pop sound. While 2020-2021 was quiet on the live show front, they were no stranger to the stage, establishing themselves as well and truly one of NSW’s most sought after pop DJs. The music of their DJ Sets - Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Ariana Grande and Charli XCX - found its way into their songwriting, and their 2022 forthcoming EP “The Day You Left” cements the pop-rock sound that was hinted at in their 2019 single “Prosecco”.


Rachel Maria Cox’s career has seen them support a huge range of artists across an eclectic range of genres, from alt-rock like Alex Lahey and Ali Barter, to post-hardcore and punk legends like La Dispute, Jeff Rosenstock and The Hard Aches. They are also a frequent performer at LGBTQ events like Heaps Gay and Queer and Now. They first started getting noticed with their 2016 EP “I Just Have A Lot Of Feelings”, which they followed up with the acclaimed Debut LP “Untidy Lines” in 2017. This saw them showcase at BIGSOUND, play Groovin’ The Moo, and win the Triple J Unearthed NIDA Competition. Follow up singles “Time” (2018) and “Prosecco” (2019) hinted at the new direction of more pop-aligned aesthetics coupled with emotionally honest and sincere lyrics. 

2022 sees RMC arrive at their full pop potential, and re-establish themselves as an artist to watch.
