Like a prophecy VID´s new release "CAMELIE" whisper in you ear and enchant your mind. 
The EP is starting with "ROOTS", a solid analog drum groove, organic sounds strike their roots in a continuous crescendo, conquering the terrain on their way in to your soundsystem. 
In the second track "CAMELIE"a magic tone of a piano is shimmering through the air accompanied by a straight electronic groove. 
The piano riff/ melody was written especially for Vid's mother, Camelie. She was his total inspiration in this concept. This is his dedication to her.
Anthea´s remix is a child of the night, incl. royal ;) beats to take you away directly to the dancefloor.

Next up on Colorize is a rising name in the true progressive house scene, Samee. Having appeared before on Colorize performing remix duties, he's back this time with no less than three dazzling Original Mixes which together form his 'Close Yet Far EP'.

Opening this triple header is 'Close Yet Far' itself, a track full of sumptuous chord progressions, vocal twists and imaginative beat patterns. Layering a delayed synth in the breakdown and a groovy bassline this is a perfect overture to set the mood.

The second part of this EP comes in the form of 'Endless Premonition'. This track is driven by its harder hitting kicks and stand out bass. With a creative break and distinct summery vibe, it is a fitting halfway marker on this already stunning EP.

The third and final track on the EP is the ambient 'Life As We Know It'. Taking a rest from the 4-to-the-floor kicks this track comes as a welcome surprise and beautifully rounds off the EP. Throwing in a few vocal samples and simple but effective melodies, 'Life As We Know It' takes you to a whole new level.

HopeStreet Recordings and Zillanova are proud to present a brand new vocal soul 45 starring two of Melbourne’s finest: Cisco Tavares and Jess Harlen. Two very distinct sides showcase the amazing talents of these two guest vocalists as well as the production and songwriting skills of HopeStreet impresarios Bob Knob and Tom Martin and the heavy duty sounds of The Zillanova Rhythm Combination - joined by reggae don Jake Savona on organ, San Lazaro’s Sebastian Orellana on percussion and The Bombay Royale horn section. 

On the A side – Cisco sings Suicide. Sweet, sweet sadness shimmers over low slung syncopation and builds to a climactic peak before dropping back to the whisper from which it came. It’s a story of collective rather than individual suicide. Something to tap our toes to while we watch the human race run headlong for self destruction. Do we care? Sure. Enough to change our ways? It seems unlikely. What’s Going On? You might ask, as Marvin once did. Truth is no one knows, or has, or will.

On the flip, Maori/Australian mistress of neo soul magic Jess Harlen gets down but plays it cool over a rocky rhythm track that owes as much to Led Zeppelin as it does to the Meters. The Time It Takes is a song about that moment in a relationship when one person has given all they can and still doesn’t know where they stand. Ouch. It’s a familiar story but delivered with the unshakeable conviction we’ve come to expect from Miss Harlen, the old tale takes on new life.

Zillanova is a studio based project led by bassist and producer Bob Knob. The Zillanova Rhythm Combination, the mighty rhythm section behind hiphoppers Illzilla and Bollywood heart starters The Bombay Royale are joined by reggae don Jake Savona on organ, San Lazaro’s Sebastian Orellana on percussion and The Bombay Royale horn section. Recorded and mixed by Bob Knob and Tristan Ludowyk at the Hope Street Studios in Brunswick, this record is a family affair for the HopeStreet crew. Many hands make light work apparently, but this record is super heavy regardless.

M.ono & Luvless join forces for the seventh release on Leipzig's much loved Rose Records the pair runs and curates alongside Martin Hayes & L.Sluter. The duo impressed a few years ago with sought-after joint productions on upmarket labels like O*RS and Kolour LTD and now steps up to the plate with a pair of pitch-perfect burners for their own imprint for the label's first 10" release.
Synth lines set the mood on the A with the delectable Double You. Crisp drums set the pace, carefully arranged percussive elements, a teasing vocal and a monumental breakdown take care of the rest. On the flipside we have Happy Chap. A quintessential Rose fare with its tight drums, vocal snips and the sort of deadly piano work that is such a staple in M.ono and Luvless' productions.

Texas based cosmic-funksters The New Black return to Whiskey Pickle with their latest offering entitled The Trouble With Monarchy. This slick production duo -- comprised of Nathan Stewart and William Bowers -- have gone on to release with Midnight Riot, Something Different, and Headset after making their initial debut on Whiskey Pickle. Two cuts and a pair of remixes comprise their new groove-laden release, opening with the filtered, low-slung swing of “A Game Of Tones”. Chirpy sample stabs and ominous synth swells usher in a fat bass line and airy pads as things crescendo into a tsunami of enveloped Moog riffs.

Icelandic disco-maestro B.G. Baarregaard (Whiskey Disco, DiscoDat) steps up first to spin the groove of “A Game Of Tones” into an uptempo, cosmic burner. His shimmering synth work adds a carefree vibe to the original's menacing flair. UK duo Hearts Of Darkness, comprised of industry heavyweights Phil Towers and Al Bradley (3am Recordings), construct a dubby take on “A Game Of Tones”. They employ loads of echoes and funky synth riffs with their aim set steadily at club dance floors. Wrapping things up nicely is “The Royal We”, a hypnotic deep house affair from The New Black that oozes like syrup and is just as sweet.

Back in May, we Debuted a track called "Just"; you might just have heard of it. @feelmybicep are no strangers to breakout belters, but even by their standards this one has been picking up a heap of plaudits. So naturally we're more than willing to help facilitate their next step toward world domination, especially given as it arrives via their own cherished namesake imprint.

This, the title track from another forthcoming collaborative release with Hammer (an artist the Belfast boys are putting serious muscle behind) is equally tense and beguiling. It hooks you in from the word go, with a nagging piano lead, ooft-y mini breakdown and shiver-inducing sirensong calling through the mist. Close your eyes and you can imagine "Dahlia" laying waste to festival stages – oh wait, that actually did actually happen at Bicep's homecoming BR. Go figure.

You can physically feel FMB005 from September 7th.
