The “Affirmations Outro” is the audio representation of pressing the last piece down to complete a puzzle. This piece touches on each of the seven deadly sins in the order that they were released. I attempted to unravel each sin; displaying what they represent in the simplest of terms, while also simultaneously stripping them down to their core and humanizing them. Despite the intensity of tapping into each individual sin, creating this album was nothing short of a learning experience. This album challenged me to dip into some of the darkest parts of myself, some not so pretty. Now that it is finished, it is insane to look back and see how full circle everything has come. I look forward to working on more extended projects such as this one in the near future. The hyper awareness of each sin has caused me to reflect a lot on my thinking process and the way my actions follow. The making of this album has truly made me more self aware and pinpointed the specific areas that I need to find a better balance in.
