THE STIFFYS have released the ‘The Pokemon GO Song’ straight from the mixing desk – as tribute to a recent obsession developed while recording their forthcoming EP ‘ART ROCK TWO’.

“WE'VE BEEN WASTING SO MUCH RECORDING TIME PLAYING POKEMON GO MUCH TO OUR PRODUCER STEVEN SCHRAM'S FRUSTRATION SO HE SAID HOW ABOUT WE MAKE A SONG ABOUT IT WAS THE ONLY WAY HE COULD GET US BACK TO WORK," says bass player Jason Leigh.

“WE’RE RELEASING THE SONG STRAIGHT AWAY BEFORE WE’VE EVEN LEFT THE STUDIO SO WE CAN BE THE FIRST BAND TO SING ABOUT POKEMON GO,” says drummer Adam Stagg.

The Lockhearts are- 4 best friends, inseparable as brothers and thick as thieves, who will go through anything and anyone to get on a stage plug in some vintage gear they really can’t afford and play an energetic set of 70s inspired Rock & Roll (combining it with a new flair with influences ranging from Queen to the Bronx) that is catchier than herpes. They are fronted by Tim (aka Tim) on Guitar and lead vox, Sam (aka Sam) on guitar, Jameel (aka Jameel) on bass and Brenton (aka Brenno) on Drums.

On stage they play with more attitude than the entire WWE Attitude Era and are more electrifying than Danny Zuko’s crotch gyrations. But more notorious than their shows are their all round awesome good guy sensibilities and faultless gig etiquette. Never to say no to a party, when lock-out laws kick in, the party continues back at their house where the home-brew and goon flows generously and where there is always space on the couch or floor for more, so come on down to the next show and join the party.
