Those of you acquainted with our releases should be familiar with the multi-faceted work of our friend Michael Klausman. Besides releasing a book of his poetry, Aeolian Darts, a few years ago, he’s collaborated with us on releases and hipped us to a million fascinating things. He runs the Colorado-based Wry Press, co-edits & publishes the little poetry mag, Luigi Ten Co and released a cassette of sound works as Fielding Daws, one of our favourite releases last year. For this episode Michael has compiled a mix called "Poet Song,” largely drawn from hiding-in-plain sight audio collections of academic archives, LPs released in tiny editions, as well as CDs, tapes, and mp3s sent to the compiler by various authors & collaborators.

Simon has earned the title of vinyl virtuoso, overseeing the House Music section at A1 Records and throwing down sets on New York’’s most discerning dance floors: Good Room, Public Records, Nightmoves, Milagrosa – quicker to list the clubs he hasn’t played. All adding up to a DJ who’s been in love with dance music since his ballroom days growing up… on Avenue F. By any name, our kind of guy.

On side B, "Deepstant", an explosion of groove that mixes rhythms and melodies in a crazy way until the pad enters, by then, you realize that Alfredo (F.R.E.D.Y.) has a special talent creating minimal and deep house.
