Interesting mix here, the 1st 50 minutes is Donato, then after Mathew. Does anyone know who Brancaphonic (maybe Andrea Filosa & Filippo R. ‘1 of the microhouse events, that took the name Space Edition, and hosted the Canadian Mathew Jonson, a member of Cobblestone Jazz, and 1 of the founders of Wagon Repair record label. That evening, Mathew divided the music area with Donato Dozzy, a resident DJ and famous today in the international electronic scene. In this recording, Dozzy is playing at the opening, while the set of Jonson, is in the central part. There are 3 or 4 jumps in the track, because that night the recorder had some problems’.

54번째 꿈 Kkum 이야기는 런던에 기반을 둔 사운드 아티스트 Jin Synth의 40분 라이브 세트 [Being 存在]과 함께 합니다. 이 세트는 지난 2023년에 있었던 아시아 투어에서 녹음된 소리들을 재구성하여 만들어졌습니다.

런던에 기반을 둔 DJ이자 사운드 아티스트인 Jin Synth는 신디사이저와 모듈러, 그리고 직접 녹음한 필드 레코딩 사운드를 혼합하여 실험적인 아날로그-노이즈 질감을 표현한다. 라이브 공연에서 진은 자신의 설정을 자유롭게 즉흥적으로 조정하여 청중에게 추상적이고 명상적인 분위기를 제공한다. 최근에는 소닉-아트 분야에 심혈을 기울이고 있으며, 독특한 사운드를 내기 위해 직접 설계,제작한 악기와 마이크를 사용한 라이브 무대를 선보이고 있다.

The 54th 꿈 Kkum episode features a 40-minute live set called ‘Being 存在’ by London-based sound artist Jin Synth. This set is a reconstruction of sounds recorded during her Asia tour in 2023.

Jin Synth
Jin Synth is a DJ, musician, and sound artist based in London. Her music is a unique blend of textural and experimental analogue noise elements. Jin is adept at playing synthesizers, modular setups, and various microphones for field recording. In her live performances, she aims to create an abstract, meditative atmosphere through free improvisation with her equipment. Recently, she has immersed herself in sonic art, dedicating time to building her own instruments and DIY microphones to craft distinctive sounds.

@giuliatess: "In this mix, I wanted to encapsulate the beats and hedonistic vibe from the '90s dance music and club scene - which is, I think, what I tried to reflect throughout my whole EP.

I put quite a few progressive breaks in there - something that has become a bit of a staple in my music and my sets (or so I’ve been told!). It’s become a bit of an obsession, so it was great to be able to channel that in this mix. This mix was created to get your blood pumping and I hope it can achieve that in whatever environment that means to the listener - whether it's to be played on a treadmill, a spin class or the afters at the office Christmas party, I want it to encourage people to move and get that huge lift that dance music is made to do."
