Love Injection is a New York music and culture monthly fanzine in print since February 2015, founded by DJs, archivists, and audio enthusiasts Paul Raffaele and Barbie Bertisch. Their namesake record label launched in 2020. Avid record and audio enthusiasts, Paul is also an art director and Barbie writes and performs music with various projects.

Furtive is a starry-eyed, polychromatic rave conjurer. As a relentless creative tinkerer and underground grand-stander, they have come up in DC’s scene as a prolific, multivariate producer, genre-agnostic DJ, and event organizer. Furtive’s tireless studio wizardry has allowed them to land releases on Warok Music, Format Recordings, and DC’s own ROOM and Metro Xpress, along with a slew of tracks on VA compilations, dozens of self-released cuts, and several pending vinyl releases. Furtive has worked to foster the raveworld underground as a promoter, organizer, and booker, helping realize some of DC more precious parties. Beyond the dance floors and strobe lights, Furtive is a medium-mixing visual artist, squiggly illustrator, and a tattoo scratcher. They have spent the long stretches of the pandemic grinding in new directions and ceaselessly churning out new material, from a rich raft of eclectic DJ mixes and releases, to ink-splattered artworks.
