Pour vous donner un avant goût de ce qui vous attend, on a demandé à Gboi & Jean Mi de livrer leur mix Good Vibes Only ultime. Ils nous racontent : “L'idée c'était de représenter l'univers du collectif 2SIK! , un collectif qui se retrouve autour d' une musique urbaine, populaire et contemporaine où la danse est au premier plan. Dans ce podcast on retrouve du r&b, du ukfunky, de la batida, du baile funk, du dancehall, du reggaeton, du bashment, du jersey club. L'idée c'était de faire quelque chose de super sexy et rythmé à la fois. On a voulu suggérer à l'auditeur la danse sans non plus aller dans du club pur et dur car on reste sur un format podcast, écoutable en toute occasion. Ça correspond très bien à l'échauffement d'une soirée 2SIK! par exemple.”

Starting the new century of the series is Mukuna. The Basel-born DJ and producer earned a reputation as a key figure in the local scene through his genre-bending style of DJing that is fueled by his passion for percussion. He has a residency at Basel-based club Elysia and is a radio host on EOS radio and TRNST radio. As recent as last month he was a part of the Nyege Nyege festival at Garage Noord here in Amsterdam. As a producer, he heads the Somatic Rituals label with longtime collaborators Kombé, Mafou, and the visual artists Dimitri Erhard, Flavio Karrer & Lukas Schläpfer. Somatic Rituals have been hosting a series of inclusive parties at Elysia Basel and other venues in nationwide. In 2018 Mukuna, alongside Kombé and Mafou, released his first tape titled SORI001 on their new platform. His selection combines his love for percussion with rhythmic electronic elements.
