“A recording from pe:rsona in France, one of the most memorable sets of the summer for me!! 

I felt a connection to this crowd in particular and that’s not something that happens often. A lot of this is down to the people behind this festival, the pe:rsona/Positive Education crew are very intentional with what they do, they champion and support a lot of artists who aren’t necessarily ‘big names’. I think this cultivates a crowd that trusts in their curation, they’ve fostered this really special energy. 

I played on Friday night between two live sets, Christian Coiffure and Renslink. They are two incredible acts to be sandwiched in-between which inspired the set to evolve the way it did.

A piece of contrasts and therefore polarising at the same time. A mixture of four completely different musical styles, characterised by free improvisation and an intuitive approach. It is a piece of incomparable dynamism and joy of playing by the protagonists. A piece to fall in love with, to appreciate jazz rock, progressive and psychedelic music. Not a piece to just listen to in passing. It will challenge you. Get involved and you will experience a rapid flight through time with all its antagonisms.

Antagonism

24 instrumental compositions explore themes of transformation, alienation, and existential anxiety through the lens of lo-fi aesthetics and dark trap. The warmth of Roland's analog synthesizers contrasts with the cold absurdity of modern existence — like Kafka's characters trapped in endless bureaucratic corridors, sounds get stuck between the walls of a tiny room.
The album is a diary of sleepless nights where the boundaries of reality blur, a human transforms into sound, and sound becomes a document of internal trial. Recorded on obsolete equipment in an impossible space, it becomes a testament to how creativity is born not despite limitations, but because of them.
Each track is a small confession, written while waiting for something inevitable that must happen before dawn. © 2025 Legenki.
