What does dancing mean to you?

" It’s quite primordial for me. I think that dancing in a dark place, on drugs, enveloped by a sound system really distilled the trance-inducing properties of dancing for me and solidified my passion/ need for it, but I also know everyone has their own relationships with it, which I find so special as well!  Dancing in general has helped to shed through so many hang-ups [ego/ pre-tension]. I remember how embarrassed I used to get when I was younger and my mom would dance in the grocery store isles when a fun song would come on. Now I’m so glad I do that too! "

As a Colombian artist based in Montreal, Daniel Rincon has taken many forms with other artists such as his Ambien Baby project with D.Tiffany. However, as his solo project NAP, he delivers an eclectic range of sounds the reflect his diverse music taste and upbrings which are evident in the multitude of deviate label and production projects he runs.
