Akash and Nishant have been with Best in Town since the start. At our first party, we schlepped our kit to the end of the world, only to realize we forgot one thing – the mixer. These two delights brought a back-up Xone to ensure the show could go on. One year later, at the inaugural Best Out of Town, Sarovar pivoted from his signature propulsive house to deliver decadent ambient goods at sunset, while Tender Buttons’s intergalactic grooves launched our collective come-up on the second night. For Year 2, hear two of Toronto’s most thoughtful selectors reach way up and down to sketch out beautiful scenes on this afternoon saunter.

Sarovar went full turbo mode with this one. Playing at 1am Saturday, our scientist brought it all out: beats leaning hard on bass, trance, and breaks, a super-slow down clearing the way for a welcome throwback, and the first mosh pit BOOT has ever seen. We must emphasize how very proud we were of our boi.
