Good Block have been throwing parties in and around London for the past six years. Nomadic and sporadic in form and function, their parties are centred around danceable odd-ball gems and have hosted the likes of Jamie Tiller, Jon K, Esa, John Gomez, Nick The Record, Selvagem, Africaine 808, Bradley Zero, DJ Okapi, Jonny Rock, Apiento, DJ Vegetable and Cosmic Slop.

After a series of DJ friendly edits issued gratis, Good Block finally put out their first fully fledged EP of original material; a composite soup of influences and styles from around the Orb, trekking through slow jungle chug, cosmic Caribbean Juno jams, Japanese synth pop snares and New-Age meanderings.

Receiving early support from the likes of Antal, Jamie Tiller, Esa, CC: Disco!, Ruf Dug, Brian Not Brian, John Gomez, DJ Nomad and Apiento.

When it comes to the physical world, sound is basically understood as a phenomenon of motion, first and foremost, as it concerns the movement of waves through the air and across bodies. However, when it comes to our humanly presence, they can also move us by other means that lie beyond the physicality perceived by our senses and that's how music can create emotional responses, entice physiological reactions strongly personal in interpretation, as well as convey commonly shared meanings. Such is the fertile hinterland of possibilities where our series managed to thrive so far, mainly through the inventiveness of its diverse guests, who bring their backgrounds and visions into the mix in each of their mixes, showing us fantastic new realms of motion and emotion. This episode is no exception, with a young carioca adding his own exquisite flavours and bold taste to our already hefty repertoire of aural adventures. Vitor Zasou's vibrant set is most certainly set to take anyone on a journey through sonic sensibilities deeply rooted in balearic realities and clearly indebted to nineties sonorities, but that are absolutely original in the way they put us in motion, both within and without our bodily existence.
