a recording of the highway overpass next to the memphis bass pro shop pyramid in june 2022 mixed with a recording of a dawn chorus in chatsworth park in july 2022.  processed live with a morphagene (make noise), stages (mutable instruments), a cold mac (mannequins), and a 2hp comb filter.

I scrapped what I had planned for this performance the day before and tried something very different than my normal setup of processing musical samples since I still wasn't happy with what I had worked on for weeks.  I also hadn't realized until halfway through my performance that my reverb + comb filter chain was completely unplugged, but I managed to plug it back in and improvise for the rest of the performance.  even though the sound wasn't as strong as I would have liked, it taught me a lot.
