I got the opportunity to mix for Deep Sessions Label in Detroit at "The Basement". I was asked to mix house music for the show. So, I did some digging and put this set together.

LowEndFreQ - House Of The FreQ

Dallas Dee is a Toronto, Canada-based producer and DJ who delivers the sounds of feel-good house music. She has played at clubs and festivals across Canada, including Classics (Nova Scotia); Future Forest (New Brunswick); WEMF, Om, Stacks on the Beach + more (Ontario) and Emotion (Saskatchewan). 

With her well-crafted ability to read the dance floor and deliver the right music to create a vibe, you can expect to hear anything from soulful, to melodic, disco, funky, or jackin' house in a Dallas Dee set; whatever the moment needs.

Her musical journey began in the 1990s Toronto rave scene and jungle/dnb music. Yet sadly after becoming a mother, Dallas faced a difficult personal struggle with postpartum depression and thought she was done with music. But the soul-soothing melodies of house music reawakened her passion for producing music and DJing, and Dallas Dee made a triumphant return.

Her music has appeared on Canadian and international labels, including Cuete, Ear Candy, FGA, Kattivo, M5, Midwest Hustle Music, Neurotics, and Purveyor Underground. Featuring a blend of funky, melodic, and deep elements, her songs have been categorized as house, deep house, minimal house, tech house, deep tech, melodic techno, nu-disco and progressive house. 

She is currently a member of the Siren Project collective. The Siren Project is a women, trans women and non-binary Production Co. with a mission to raise funds for women empowerment.

Hard bass heavy beats in the tech house, techno, bass house, peak hour tracks are what I love. But I enjoy mixing all kinds of genres. so don't be surprised if some House is slipped into the playlist.
