Hewn from the rich seam of talent that flows through the Russian capital, Denis A makes an indelible stamp on Mango Alley. 

Form and function fuse and exhilarate on the "Reverse Side". An explosive beat punctures the airwaves as a pneumatic drill rips through granite surface, creating lines for textured beats to carve a subtler path beneath the surface. Rhythmic patterns emerge in perfect geometry through mesmeric bass and synchronous melody.

A last night on earth finds Formel in heavenly flight. Shimmering patterns emerge from "Reverse Side", cascading in rivers of light between Moscow and Leiden. A sonic adventure plays out in new arpeggio sequence that imperceptibly builds a new variation that heightens the senses in coruscating lanes.

Hypnotic lines blur reality in unique patterns that paint a new aural canvas.

Born in house-loving Holland, K'Lavander got in touch with electronica
at an early age. As soon as he started playing records, he came to
realize that the creative process of producing music was just as much
fun as mixing in a DJ-booth. His sound has been hard to categorize if
you listen to his volume of works, and in large part this is due to the
fact that he was being tutored by production geniuses, Ariaan &amp;
Peter from the 16 Bit Lolitas. They set up a studio in Amsterdam around
this period, and then when the 16 Bit Lolitas were formed, this became
the first “Lost Orchestra” studio – a place for new, rich, and diverse
sounds. Being a part of this select group of people, K’Lavander decided
to create his own sounds, and only halfway through 2005 did his sound
slowly start to form and mature. The profound interest that many have
had with his works made K’Lavander decide to take his music out of the
dark and into the realm of the club world.

Formel is a Leiden based duo composed of Tom Noah and Bas van der Laken.  

While Bas produced progressive music for many years, Tom made fame as a techhouse dj. Combining sounds by using plain techno beats, raw bass lines and a hint of jazz, makes the sound that is typical Formel. The sounds of Formel are a beautiful journey through a deep and colorful palette with a wide and varied worldly feel. Organic and melodic with a perfectly fitting balance between dancing and listening; Formel comes up with a refreshing and exciting sound you haven’t quite heard yet.

Formel debuted in 2013 on Daniel Sanchez’ ‘Bla Bla Records’ with their first full length album of nine tracks ‘Entzun’. Their follow up was their EP Kolyma on Berlins Einmusiks’ ‘Einmusika Recordings’ in May 2014. Formel can be booked both as live or DJ set. Live you can expect the deep, grooving and danceable sounds of Formel. While Tom performs as DJ, expect an extra pinch of power, to get the dancefloor moving.

Formel played at national and international clubs and festivals suchs as Off Sonar – Einmusika meets Katermukke (Barcelona), Tach & Nacht (Hamburg), Pleinvrees Heroes (Amsterdam), Amsterdam Open Air (Amsterdam), Goldfish Outdoor (Amsterdam), Paradiso (Amsterdam) and Graefenthal (NL).
