Riding slick, Freedo Mosho's take on Ancient Moon builds patiently in the shadows as it rolls over the back of a delectable percussive line and an irresistible stabbed bassline. Sound Avenue opens the month of November by showcasing new interpretations of 'Club Del Ocio' by Madloch and Subnode. Originally released in August of this year as the B-side to the duo's 'A Fading Dream' EP, the deep mesmerizing nine-minute journey certainly has a meaningful story to tell. Over five years in the making, the origins of 'Club Del Ocio' date back to 2017 when Sound Avenue label boss Madloch had a gig at the club for which the track was coined. Located in Salta, a rich cultural city in Argentina's mountainous northwestern region, the uniquely constructed ten-room open concept venue would produce one of the most memorable nights of Madloch's career. Taking inspiration from the four-hour set, Madloch would return home to Belgium and begin work on a piece to emulate the vibe of what proved to be such a noteworthy gig. Worked on and shelved over the course of the next year, the foundation of the track was in place for the emergence of Subnode; Madloch's now steadfast studio collaborator. Together the duo would work on the track over the next half decade, eventually resulting in a haunting slice of dubbed out atmospheric deep house. Now, looking to bring the spirit of the track to a cross-section of new dancefloors, Sound Avenue invites label returnees about : river and Andres Moris, alongside debutant Alexander Bogdanovic to reimagine the track in their own essence.

The progressive act of Mind Of One been on our radar for a while now and we finally got the chance to cross paths with the truly talented 2 person act we of course felt we had to strike. With the wonderful “Lightyears” they once again showcase their talent when it comes to put together melodies, harmonies and that pounding energy as well. We are delighted to see them join, makes sure to check out what the outcome is from them. 

To flavour a bit more, we see a welcome return from Canadian based producer and long time friend Andrew Lang. After being a long time server with his music through Progressive House Worldwide, we felt it was time to bring him back to rebuild this wonderful original. Andrew takes his own twist on it as always, but you can as so many times feel the “Lang vibe” written all over it as it is packed with rolling melodies and creative effects that we see from him all the time. 

We also see Greek supremo Fiben make his way back in the house. With a majestic bassline and clear percussion he surely brings his A-game to us. We are always surprised with what he takes from a track and make new things with it. We love it from start to finish and we don’t think you should miss out for no money in the world.

 We are as thrilled and excited as ever as our long time friend of the label, Alex H makes his way back to our Progressive House Worldwide label after a while away from us. Alex has always been a big provider of excellent melodic and warm progressive music in the genre and made a big impression over the years with rock solid vibes. When he decided to join back with us, we of course were to make it happen. This time he returns with a 4 track EP, packed with all the lush and dreamy material he always delivers. 

The lovely “DMT” opens up the EP. This is a real treat, packed with warm and lush melodies, just as we expect from Alex while he is taking us to the progressive heaven. With the title track of the EP up next, named as “Beachy Boi” he takes on another progressive journey packed with lovely melodies, a fantastic atmosphere and that serene treat this guy is offering every time. We absolutely love everything about this track and surely pulls off a lot of the tricks Alex got up his sleeve. 

Next is another lovely journey, this baptized as “Cleopatra”. It’s lush and uplifting from start to finish, bringing on all of the summer-ish and feel good vibes we so often seek for. It’s as dreamy as ever and we love what we hear here. 

Last but not least we have “Frosted Heights”, another triggering progressive journey, packed with rich and warm melodic layers and progressions that surely is to melt a few of your hearts. It’s top notch progressive music from start to finish and surely one of Alex best productions over this past decade.

Italian based man of melodies, Richard Bass, makes his way back to our Progressive House Worldwide label and anyone that has been following the melodic progressive scene over the years should know that you are in for a sun drenched progressive journey. From start to finish, well selected melodies, smooth pluks and everything in between is there for you and we can’t say less than that the Richard Bass moniker is back stronger than ever. 

To spice things up, 2 remarkable artists, well known for their loving skills of writing progressive music, make their way back. First is a producer that really doesn't need an introduction as he’s been hammering some fantastic music out over the past decade. We are of course as thrilled as ever to see UK based Alex H making his way back to the label. With a fresh and more “synthwave” styled interpretation of the original idea, he once more proves another way of doing things. We absolutely love the fresh outcome of his remake. 

After a while away from the progressive scene, doing other things in life, we of course are over the moon to see a fresh return from a producer we always held high. Hailing from Japan and with an incredible talent in writing melodic hooks, we welcome back none other than Ryo Nakamura to the label and the scene. For those of you being with for a while knows all about his music and what a fantastic artist he is. This is special one from him again through warm moods, high flying melodic arrangements and that etching catchy vibe.
