Plaisirs Sonores Records is thrilled to announce the release of the 'Dual EP' by dynamic producer, Kabi (AR).

Continuing our mission to deliver captivating soundscapes that push the boundaries of electronic music, this new release will be available on all major platforms from July 28th, 2023.

Kabi, known for his evocative soundscapes, returns with a two-track progressive house masterpiece. With previous signings on renowned labels like Replug and The Soundgarden, Kabi (AR) is no stranger to crafting tunes that echo within the soul and leave listeners yearning for more.

The 'Dual EP' aptly commences with the title track 'Dual,' a rolling progressive house number imbued with resonant synth work and infectious melodies. The tune, like its name suggests, plays on the duality of music - its capacity to energize and soothe, making it a versatile addition to any DJ's set.

Meanwhile, the second track, 'Spicy,' offers a darker, more intense experience. This peak time banger, loaded with hypnotic repetitive synths, is tailored for the throbbing pulse of the dancefloor. Its compelling rhythm and tantalizing progression are guaranteed to immerse listeners in an exhilarating sonic journey.

Label founders Hicky and Kalo are already advocates for this release. They shared their experience, stating: "We've played these tracks a few times at Stereo Montreal and New York with great success. They always work so well in a club setting. The reception has been fantastic, and we can't wait for the audience at large to experience these tunes."

'Dual EP' is a compelling testament to Kabi's musical prowess and a proud addition to Plaisirs Sonores Records' growing catalogue. The EP encapsulates the label's ethos of delivering driving yet emotionally resonant music that not only resonates with listeners but also shapes the future of progressive house music.

Following an impressive first release, Luum Records welcomes Tonaco to the label for their second and much anticipated offering. Since first appearing in 2019 with an EP via Transensations, Brazilian artist Tonaco has enjoyed a steady rise within the global progressive house scene. Noted for his blend of powerful grooves, hypnotic rhythms and evocative melodies, the Tocantins resident has excelled at creating his own brand of progressive house, making him one of the most promising artists to emerge from Brazil across the last half decade. Juicebox Music, Mango Alley, Meanwhile, Vapour Recordings and WARPP have been vehicles for his creative swell in recent years, in turn earning support from progressive house tastemakers Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. With 2024 being highlighted by a thunderous remix of 'Cressida' by Chaum and Hobin Rude for Juicebox Music, a track which peaked at #2 in Beatport's Progressive House chart, Tonaco begins 2025 on an impressive note, making his Lumm Records debut with 'Extrema'. 

Beginning with ‘Extrema’, Tonaco showcases a peak time approach which sets the tone for the EP. Full of dark textures and cutting edge design qualities, the Brazilian phenom expertly blends punchy kick drums and tough shapely grooves, with deconstructed vocal samples, wavy arps and buzzing synth mutations, for an energetic path into the break. Further revealing his creative attitude across the interlude, it's a growling acid line which emerges to steal the air in tension filled pyrotechnic fashion. A brave and unconventional approach, certainly something you don't hear much in progressive house these days, but it shifts the mood momentarily in all its squelchy glory, before a well-timed drop seals a smooth yet exhilarating finale. 

The companion piece 'Gautama' sits as a worthy complement to its predecessor and opts for a sleeker more hypnotic approach. The track's first movement is built around chunky grooves, billowing stabs and a trippy vocal loop which sits gently below the surface. Its rhythmic and percussive appeal is high, in a dark room New York kind of way, add to that a topline of transcendent pads and textural drifts which highlights the break, and you've got a late night floor burner of the highest order. A fitting way to cap off the EP, and one which furthers Tonaco's path into the upper echelon of progressive house. Highly recommended.

Yonsh (Vladimir Demchenko) is a Russian sound producer and DJ working in Progressive House, Techno & House styles. His musical preferences in the direction of Progressive house began to form back in 2005, when he encountered tracks from the flagship London underground label Sumsonic. Since then, Yonsh has been following the development of underground culture and tastes have been based on such musicians as Paul Rogers, Sleepfreaks, Darko, Barry Gilbey, Peace Division, K Loveski, Satoshi Tomiie, Mara and many others.

Yonsh has been published on labels such as The Soundgarden, Mango Alley, Sound Avenue, Manual Music, Mistique Music, Massive Harmony, Genesis and a number of others. Yonsh has received support from such leading musicians as Paul Oakenfold, Cid Inc, Nick Warren, Fernando Ferreira, Guy Baron, Eziquel Arias, Emi Galvan, Nicholas Rada, DJ Ruby, Aman Anand and others

Vitor, aka Mind Echoes is a producer and DJ from Fortaleza, Brazil. He is deeply passionate about Progressive House music, and that's where he got his heaviest influences. Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode are his biggest references outside of Dance Music.

He has his music released on labels like Mango Alley, Transensations, Comet Records, 3rd Avenue, AH Digital, Droid9 and Terasonic. He has supports from amazing artists like Hernan Cattaneo, DJ Ruby, Khen, Weird Sounding Dude. Gai Barone, Tonaco, Forty Cats, Juan Pablo Torrez, Nufects, Ewan Rill and others.
