Modd sits at the heart of the deep and organic end of the house spectrum with cultured grooves that move you emotionally and physically. He has released tracks on numerous top labels and also heads up his own Something Special and Cultural Code, where he continues to nurture an ever-evolving style. As a DJ, he has played major stages such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Printworks, and is a go-to for selectors like Lee Burridge, Bedouin, and radio hosts across BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, and Ibiza Global Radio.

Here he works with Voice Of Babylon, a new project from Denis Reshetnikov. This experienced DJ and producer now dives deep into rich melodic worlds and has works lined up for Anjunadeep and Bomond.

Say the pair of the collaboration, "We've been friends for a long time and always wanted to do something diﬀerent from our usual organic sound. So we decided to push the envelope and create a beautiful, melodic, and danceable release that reflects our soul and showcases our vision of modern music."

The wonderful 'Bomond' kicks oﬀ with breezy synths and soft melodic sequences that bubble high in the sky above a slinky groove and textured bassline. Angelic vocal coos complete this most blissful escape.

The equally tender and heartfelt 'Hymn Of The Fern' marries lofty pads with luminous synths that warm the soul and arouse the senses with their tactile textures as the rich beats roll on and keep you hypnotised.

Last but not least is 'Magellan', another meticulous sound with wafty drums and pads that are graceful and elegant as they lift you oﬀ your feet and up amongst the most gorgeous melodies. All three cuts are the antidote to busy minds and stressful day-to-day life.

Movement Recordings welcomes Evgeny Sviridov for his label debut with the Karma EP, featuring two original tracks and remixes from Ziger & Mind Conspiracy and Lena Storm. A classically trained musician and versatile producer, Evgeny brings a unique blend of musicality and electronic craftsmanship to the release, resulting in a collection that bridges depth, groove, and melody with effortless style.Born in Moscow and now based in Bangkok, Evgeny’s career has been shaped by a rich musical journey. With formal training at the Central Music School at Moscow Conservatory, Gnesin College, and the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory in Italy, he developed a foundation in classical performance before moving into electronic production. His work as a DJ and live performer has taken him from Russia to Ibiza and across Asia, with releases on AFROKHIN, ONErpm, and Keyfound adding to his growing profile. Known for blending organic instruments such as oboe, duduk, and kalimba into his productions, Evgeny crafts a sound that is both emotive and immersive.The title track Karma explores hypnotic grooves and cinematic atmospheres, evolving with subtle melodic tension and a refined sense of rhythm. Its companion Giza moves in a deeper, more mystical direction, merging progressive textures with evocative motifs that showcase Evgeny’s distinctive musical voice.On the remix front, Greek mainstay Ziger teams up with Mind Conspiracy to reimagine Karma in peak-time fashion. Both established figures in Greece’s electronic landscape, Ziger has built an international reputation with releases on Sudbeat, Mango Alley, ICONYC, Movement Recordings and more, while Mind Conspiracy continues to carve his path with a versatile sound spanning progressive and melodic techno, with a discography that includes Eat My Hat Music, Eleatics Records, and Consequence Of Society Recordings. Their version injects driving grooves, dramatic synths, and a club-focused intensity that is sure to resonate with global dancefloors.Rounding out the release, Lena Storm puts her signature touch on Giza. Based in Russia, Lena has emerged as one of the scene’s most promising talents, with releases on Movement Recordings, Lowbit, Kitchen Recordings, SLC-6 Music, SkyTop, and Dear Deer.
