Australia's Eric Lune is slowly carving a name for himself with highly exquisite productions that feel futuristic, whilst staying true to the progressive ethos of the early 00's: lots of groove, highly melodic and always affecting. He debuts on Balance Music with a three track EP that serves as an excellent showcase of a producer on the rise.

The bubbling bass on 'Predisposition' features an uplifting edge that propels the track into exciting spaces. The lovely vocal FX that reminds of Underworld at their euphoric best is peppered throughout, leading to a sublime melodic breakdown that is hugely uplifting. This is proper progressive house.

On 'Rover' shimmering synths ride on top of engaging FX that showcase Lune's advanced engineering skills. It slowly builds towards a melodic crescendo and a breakdown that keeps swelling to a breaking point. The thick, off beat bass and warm kick all add to the overall 10/10 vibe.

'Midnight Jam' is aptly named. Energetic synths play against a determined groove that adds up to make a joyful production. Layers of melodies are introduced as it progress into a massive breakdown filled with attention grabbing moments.

An hourglass slowly sifts its grains of sand as a plethora of sights and sounds are generated in synchronicity over days that wait for night to fall. The bustling Leidseplein is filled with chatter by day, while dislocated melodic patterns drift across Rembrantplein as twilight turns to night. Nothing is off limit at the stylish and atmospheric ClubNL and the aural rush created by the Sugar Factory then leads east to tempting rhythms found across the Panama canal.

We welcome back Greece’s finest, Harris Sgourdas aka Blusoul, for his second remix on Juicebox Music after his incredible work on Diyo’s ‘Underwater’ and his debut single on the label with ‘Depth of Emotion’. His unique ‘spacey-yet-groovy’ sound found it’s way to Tash’s “Movement”, Sonic Union’s “Lowbit” as well as Guy J’s “Lost & Found” with his monumental ‘Modular Memories’ in the past. With forthcoming music on Amber Long’s “Modern Agenda” and Pena’s “Flow Vinyl”, 2017’s looking to be a fantastic year ahead for the Greek artist. He kickstarts the momentum with his rendition of ‘Endless Time’. Staying true to his sound, Blusoul completely revisits all the elements, reworking the arpeggiated melody, adding extra vocal lines, his signature crisp yet roaring stab & smooth pads.

https://soundcloud.com/schleppgeist has been invigorating Leipzig's scene and sound for quite a while now and with certainty will do even more so with this upcoming, vigorous EP on Distillery Records. He shaped up the opening and lead track "Dust" with so much potential, that he just had to carve out two versions, serving slightly different fields of application. The "Outdoor Mix" incorporates all the essentials of an utmost classy peaktime affair that will apply to the affective dynamics of crowds in larger numbers. Single lasting notes ensnaring micro-percussive patterns, haunted vocals creating somewhat of an emotive song-quality within the track-like arrangement, a break evidently bursting with tension and energy, in short: the maximum in effect, without compromising in style and attitude. The "Indoor Mix" on the other hand highlights rather tribal-esque rhythms and a more subtle and deep quality to the groove, tweaking it for ultimate club-duties.

Following up is "Shiver", a tune that delves into deeper realms, introducing a filtered-in piano-motif that progresses into pure Acid bliss. Toolhouse splendour that surely will send shivers of joy down many spines.  

"Last" opens up yet another sound aesthetic, bringing heavy breaks and a bassline into play that at some point in Techno history would have been considered "Knartz". Comparative minds might even sense some tribute to "Flatbeat" within this mix. At least up until the point, elevating pads add a more romantic notion to the tune.

https://soundcloud.com/chris-manura then finally lays his hands and mind on that very "Last", translating it into a 4/4 scheme, referring to the original's bassline here and there, but in general teasing out a completely different temper that's built on sparkling synths, a straight groove, deep mentality and epic arrangement.

An artist with a considerable amount of kudos under his sizeable belt, Juan Deminicis returns to Proton Music with another hugely impressive in "Synchronicity".

Hailing from the populous and sprawling Buenos Aries, capital, Juan Deminicis has risen high above the towering skyscrapers of his home city and far beyond his country's borders. Success has been a constant companion for the Argentinean as he follows in the footsteps of those who inspired him. Thus, Digweed, Sasha, Warren and fellow superstar countryman, Hernan Cattaneo have all had a profound influence upon the Juan Deminicis sound.

An accomplished DJ who performs weekly across the clubs of the capital and beyond, Deminicis' production career is no less impressive. A triple century of production credits has thus found its way on to some of the finest underground imprints of the digital age. A debut for Atlantdigital in 2008 has been followed by over a decade of releases for the likes of Guy J's Lost & Found, Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank and Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Moreover, Proton Music has been a constant companion on the Juan Deminicis journey after January 2012's "Downshifting" debut with Pablo Acenso, followed a year later but the white-hot "Behind the Sun" EP and April 2019's "Life on the Moon". Remixed by a cast of stars that include Guy Mantzur & Khen, D-Nox & ZAC and GMJ & Matter, Deminicis has also been a highly sought-after artist.

Returning to the label after a remix of Michael A in May 2019, Juan Deminicis opens his 2020 account with the twin-track, "Synchronicity". The title track is a glorious melodic gem that shines across 7-minutes with its shimmering, sunlit motifs and hypnotic arpeggios. Conjuring images of warm and hazy afternoons, smooth delays and free-flowing keys ripple across a rhythmic framework characterised by shuffling hi-hats and rolling percussive groove. The result is wonderfully produced affair.

Opening with a grooved bassline that sits perfectly against a crisp percussive shell and seismic kick, "Sounds of Freedom" builds in effortless fashion with a swathe of melodic phrases that have their spiritual roots firmly in Kraftwerk's immaculate melodic programming. Cleverly building through textured white-noise washes and stratified layers of sound, the resultant track is a glorious reminder of Deminicis' talent, craft and technique.

The incredible "Synchronicity" flowing through Juan Deminicis' twin-track EP is certain to bring causal success.

Lucas Rossi was born in the city of Córdoba, Argentina in 1988.
His interest in electronic music was born around 2000 listening
to house and trance and over the years he evolved into deep
house and progressive house.

His career as a DJ began in 2011 and throughout it he has had
the opportunity to take his music to the most important cities in
Argentina as well as to European territory. He has shared the
stage with great artists from the national and international scene
such as Henry Saiz, Martin García, Cid Inc, Sahar Z, Robert
Babycz, Cubicolor, Stelios Vassiloudis, Eelke Kleijn, Khen, Chicola,
Roy Rosenfeld, Dimitry Molosh, among others.

Starting in 2012, he began to take his first steps in the
production career trying to achieve his own musical identity and
over time he has managed to edit on labels such as Black Hole
Recordings in the legendary compilation "In Search Of Sunrise",
The Soundgarden, Dreamers , just to name a few. Since the
beginning of his career he has managed to count on the support
of artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn and
many more.

Lucas also has a radio show on Frisky Radio called Different
Minds.
