The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Emi Galvan for his first appearance. Argentinean DJ and producer Emi Galvin has consistently defied expectations throughout his much-lauded decade-long career. Through the success of early tracks like 2016's ‘Taking Over’ and ‘Universe’, the Buenos Aires resident emerged into one of the progressive scene’s most promising talents. A rich musical background with time spent in rock bands playing guitar and singing gave Emi’s electronic compositions a measurable creative edge. This elusive sound did not go unnoticed as he quickly earned the praise of genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren; while landing career defining releases via Balance, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden. Also an accomplished DJ, Emi’s long undulating sets have been applauded for their impeccable track selection and exquisite programming. As one of Argentina’s most in demand DJs, Emi has travelled the world, delighting crowds in Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Spain and more. A recent highlight in the Argentine’s sets has been his unofficial remix of Massive Attack’s ‘Girl I Love You.’ Released in 2010 as part of the band’s ‘Heligoland’ album, the song would go on to become one of the LP’s most recognizable tracks, racking up more than ten million plays on Spotify in the process. Emi’s version has seen considerable live play in recent months, with Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger and more all airing the remix across their sets. The latest release from Clubsonica Records finds Golan Zocher returning to the label for a new single. Born in Colombia but now calling Israel home, Golan Zocher has firmly etched his place in progressive house lore. Following a 2016 debut, the Tel Aviv resident quickly found his place amongst the genre's elite, earning play and support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and Guy Mantzur. Releases via Mango Alley, Or Two Strangers, Plattenbank and Proton highlight what has been an eight-year creative swell for this elusive talent. Clubsonica has also been a regular landing spot for Golan, with three originals and two remixes recorded since making his label debut in 2017. Now, following a contribution to the label's Sampler, Vol.3 earlier this year, Golan returns to the Clubsonica with 'Alive', alongside remixes from Will DeKeizer and Dabeat.

Making his label debut with the first interpretation of 'Alive' is Will DeKeizer. Hailing from the USA, Will DeKeizer first emerged in 2021 with the success of 'Karma'. Released via onedotsixtwo and played by Nick Warren, it set the course for what has been a remarkable two-year stretch. Armed with a sound that incorporates dark, hypnotic and melodic elements, Will would go on to showcase his music via Deepwibe Underground, Plattenbank and Sudbeat, while earning the support of genre tastemakers Guy J, Guy Mantzur and Hernan Cattaneo. Now, on the strength of a three-track showcase for Suza records, Will makes his Clubsonica debut with a cosmic take on 'Alive'. Dark rebounding rhythms and warm key changing basslines set the course for snatches of fluttery effects and bright percussive clusters. A gorgeous contrast from the American artist and one which is explored further across an astral break. A haze of trailing effects dominates the cavernous interlude, building tension with each successive pass, before Will's progressive attitude reveals itself during a commanding drop and groove-centric finale.

The latest installment in our free download series welcomes Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada with their much requested take on Depeche Mode’s ‘The Things You Said’. As frequent studio partners since remixing Upercent’s ‘Pulsacions’ in 2017, Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada have become one of the progressive scene’s most beloved production teams. The duo have built a strong synergy over what has been a six-year creative swell, showcasing their original material on Nick’s The Soundgarden imprint, while also recording a string of impressive remixes for DAYS like NIGHTS, Get Physical, Proton Music and many more trendsetting imprints. Always looking for new avenues to test their creative chops, the duo took to re-imagining Depeche Mode’s ‘The Things You Said’ earlier this year. Released in 1987 as part of the band’s ‘Music for the Masses’, an album widely regarded to encompass the best styles from both ‘Black Celebration’ and ‘Violator’, ‘The Things You Said’ has stood the test of time and remains a high point on the seminal and much loved long-player. Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada have combined their extensive forces once again, knocking out a near nine-minute epic rendition which has not only been a staple in Nick’s recent sets, but also finds the duo landing more additive ever. Returning to the European electronic music capital once more for its annual gathering, Mango Alley celebrates another Amsterdam Dance Event with the 8th incarnation of its exclusive compilation. A creative aesthetic blossoms in a city renowned for its artistic heritage where an intricate tapestry of art and music blends into a glorious collective assembly. From Grachtengordel to De Wallen and Prinsenelland to Jordaan, a global gathering of artists reunite and forge new friendships under dance music's all-inclusive banner.

Through 22 tracks of innovation and passion, a wonderful world of unity creates a dynamic point of view and a new golden age of art. Thumping beats and shimmering melodies bounce off cobbled streets and historic facades while a network of canals tell their own history in a city imbued with music old and new. Along the Damrak, a kaleidoscopic array or clubs vie for attention in a mesmerising display of sonic brilliance. Moving towards the stars and an inky black night sky, temporary feelings of tension and worry are unburdened in the Amsterdam nightlife, evaporating into the ether on the rising refrains of low-end vibrancy and rippling musical waves. Rising up and from somewhere else converged as one in Amsterdam.

Clubsonica Records rounds out the month of April by welcoming Tomas Briski to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from the progressive house mecca of Argentina, Tomas began his musical journey at the tender age of 14. Born into a family of artists and inspired by the likes of Guy J, Jamie Stevens and Roy Rosenfeld, the Cordoba resident would find his footing quickly, signing his first project to Mango Alley’s ‘Augmented 013’ collection in March of 2024. Immediately regarded as one of his country’s top progressive house prospects, Tomas would go on to sign releases with Analog Jungs Constellation Music, Praveen Achary’s Juicebox Music and Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, in turn earning support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Sébastien Léger, amongst others. With 2025 being highlighted by a well received debut on Alex O’Rion’s Solis Records, Tomas now adds Clubsonica to his resume with ‘Akosha | The Rest’, alongside remixes from Analog Jungs and Tonaco.

The release concludes with Tonaco making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘The Rest’. Since first appearing in 2019 with an EP via Transensations, Brazilian artist Tonaco has enjoyed a steady rise within the global progressive house scene. Noted for his blend of powerful grooves, hypnotic rhythms and evocative melodies, the Tocantins resident has excelled at creating his own brand of progressive house, making him one of the most promising artists to emerge from Brazil across the last half decade. Juicebox Music, Mango Alley, Meanwhile, Vapour Recordings and WARPP have been vehicles for his creative swell in recent years, in turn earning support from progressive house tastemakers Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. With 2024 being highlighted by a thunderous remix of 'Cressida' by Chaum and Hobin Rude for Juicebox Music, a track which peaked at #2 in Beatport's Progressive House chart, Tonaco continues on an upwards trajectory into 2025, adding Clubsonica to his resume with a powerful rendition of ‘The Rest’. Taking a modern approach, the Brazilian artist lightens the framework with plush kick drums, warm rhythmic pulses and spacious percussion. Hypnotic and energetic in equal measure, it's an evolving effects narrative which delights across the break, as billowed tones deliver anticipation, before melting down into a low-end lovers finale to round out the release on a groovy note.

Release Info: 
Moonwalk put the spotlight on exotic soundscapes in Fatima, a cinematic release with three original pieces, blending their usual lively electronic explorations with an oriental flair.

The title track commences with subtly rousing drums, gradually building up a melancholic groove, perched on a backdrop of warm pads and spiralling synths.

Another set of oriental-inspired percussion comes to life in Zed, a lengthy journey of winding pads and shimmery riffs. The wailing vocal makes for a distinctive sound bite, while blending in deftly with the aid of a dramatic lead merged in ethereal throbs.

Mosaic brings forth another apt fusion of electronic and otherworldly elements. The symbiosis between the two remains linear, with incidental swings to each side of the realm, proving the artists’ ability to steer through divergent moods and combine them into a unitary, curious composition.
