Henry Wilson’s journey began in Seattle on New Year’s Eve 2001 when his friends insisted he attend the massive party, “Bliss”. He was immediately enthralled by Paul Van Dyk, BT, and Christopher Lawrence among others. From this point on Henry was sure that Trance was the greatest music he’d ever heard and he desperately needed to be a part of this music and scene. He purchased his first set of turntables and began amassing a gargantuan vinyl collection and recording DJ mixes. 

In 2005 Henry moved to Nashville to attend the SAE Institute and completed their audio engineering course. When he returned to South Carolina in 2006 he was on a mission. Henry quickly spread his mixes around the Carolinas and Georgia and gained his first residency immediately, eventually growing into one of the Southeastern U.S.’s premier Trance DJs playing alongside Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate, Andy Moor, Benny Benassi, The Crystal Method, AK1200, DJ Icey and so many more! 

In 2011 Henry returned to his hometown of Seattle, WA to focus, unfortunately, on a career outside of music. Through all of this his love for Trance remained and in 2018 Henry decided a deep dive into music production was extremely overdue. In 2019 Henry began releasing his original music and continues to grow musically and technically with every new track. 2020 sees Henry continue to experiment with all genres, each looked at through his melodic lens, but with a heavy focus on Progressive Trance.

As to describe the Dark Whisper's soundscape, the use of both analogue and digital instruments are used with a psychedelic influence fusing with ethnic cultures and frequencies to activate inner states of memory consciousness allowing the listener to explore the cymatic body, mind and spirit tuning, while conveying a message to the humanity on the whole.
We are all developing, struggling and striving for a better world and music is a key  to unlocking this state of realisation, the dance is the ritual if wisely understood. Holding light by exposing the shadows with a dark whisper, music is energy as too is you.
