“Make Me Feel” is a nostalgic callback to the child-like, heartfelt songwriting of the 60’s golden era. 

The Mellons’ earnest harmonies highlight the seasick melloncholy of a first love. The playful simplicity of the lyrics echoes the innocence of Brian Wilson, while the instrumentation nods more toward contemporary psych influences. As usual, the Mellons pull out all the stops, adding tubular bells, harpsichord, and a double guitarmony solo.  
 
“Make Me Feel” is The Mellons’ first single following their debut album, “Introducing… The Mellons!” The song was self-produced and mixed by The Mellons and recorded at Orchard Studios and No. 9 Studios in Salt Lake City, Utah. It’s accompanied by a music video, also made by the band, and is available on Spotify and all major streaming platforms via Earth Libraries.

The Mellons are a baroque-pop outfit from Salt Lake City, Utah. Their signature sound is marked by sunshine-y melodies, melancholy lyrics, and a sturdy rock groove, all wrapped in rich orchestral stylings.

The foursome consists of lead vocalists Andrew Beck and Rob Jepson, who share guitar and keyboard duties. They are joined by multi-instrumentalist and producer Denney Fuller on bass/horns, with percussionist Ian Francis on drums.

The Mellons' sound is: pop, melodic, orchestral, baroque, mournful, and psychedelic.
