6 and a half minutes of raw mayhem, bolstered by Mr Jon Martin on the keys, this is a song about the love of music...when you get a good tune in your head, when you feel inspired, to paste over the shite that the real world has to offer, its astrange world we live in these days. I have a chair. and it is indeed the musical place to be. This rips my throat to ribbons so always saved until the end of a show! Turn that violence inward, aggression on the deferment plan It helps me with the rage but leaves me in a mental cage.
 Always on the outside looking in, detached never really part of the scene I'm in. That's ok. Invisible is better anyway. Better not to matter any. Just floating along above the fray. Easier to call my own play that way.
Have no need for socialization. Best friend is isolation.

Notes:  Hi everyone,  think I am going to steal the line from my friends, November Sound, and say if you are reading this...I appreciate you.  This track has been in development for a while and another learning experience.  

This song is meant to rail against the systems that claim moral superiority and victimize their followers. Events as they are happening in our times and the frustration with the silent acceptance of this behavior. 

How defined these systems of control are and how we are born into blindly accepting these chains.  Then we spend our lives trying to figure out why happiness is so hard to find.   

Some major milestones on the engineering side and while I could rattle on about this... lets just say that the microphone recorded tracks out number the DI 5 to 1.  Custom processing chains, coupled with the best performances I could muster on the bottom shelf gear. 

Perfect...certainly not... but most definitely Tainted Icarus,  I hope you enjoy it and always my brothers and sisters.. peace and love!

Hello Soundcloud, thanks for the Listens, Likes and Support. Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
