Written on the road, The Traveling man chronicles my journeys around the routes of the UK. A song close to home and yet written on the road, it reflects on my own thoughts and personal and experiences of being on the road and missing home!
While playing with this idea of this song and where it was going I decided to send the lyrics to KT Mulholland who felt an instant connection, KT loved it so much he offered to put his own vocal stamp on it, I accepted,  then the song really started to gather some pace.
Later after hearing the song Joel ‘the Crookery’ offered to help us out, adding a little wizardry of his own the song really came to life.

A scot walks in the sunshine with his crook handled walking stick.  He is once again drawn to the blue islands that he loves.  He sings of the joys of his journey as he makes his way on the ROAD TO THE ISLES.

I tried to focus more on my mixing in this and the overall quality and tone of guitars. still not perfect but its a start, also please excuse my 'amazing' vocals (chorus only). But it gives you an idea of the direction I was aiming with this track.

This is my first collab with Rob Johnson from @fire-jam-band. And it was mind blowing. Rob contacted me and mentioned that his voice with that "Southern Twang" would perfectly fit to the style of music I create. And I had the idea of a southern rock ballad. Now here's the result!
I'm so happy with what came out of this idea after Robs phenomenal input.

I wrote the chords/riff to this back in 2002. I was just reminiscing about living in Vancouver Canada again  - living in the mountains and leaving it all behind for a "Brand new day". Hope you like some part of it.

After being absent from Soundcloud for almost a month now, i am glad to return with a collaboration with the very talented Nathalie B20.
My track was a simple intrumental and she brought it to life with her sweet voice and sound effects. She also had the idea for the lyrics and story to the track.

Backing music of the song is the simplest one I've ever done- only with drums and guitars, without bass, any solo either or fills...no fancy thing, just with a dirty fuzz explosion.  
And its simpleness  is what I think is the essential part of this song, besides the way how Jack White sang on it with great rhyming, and I found that it was actually well structured to work very effectively for supporting the vocal lines, remaining also the retro hard rock feels as Jack White told that he wanted to have "struggle" within their performance - with some tiny discrepancies and gaps between each position - not to be  mechanical, plastic, nor too much smooth. 
So, I tried to keep its simpleness and raw feels as much as possible in this cover, too, without adding any accessory note or extra effect. Whilst the vocals are quite colory with lots of slight changes within the similar lines, and Amanda sung her own lines on them, too, which I adore very much, and I'm very delighted to share it with you here. 

I hope you enjoy. Any feedback will be appreciated.
