This is a great tune, Paula! I love that melody against those chords. "Your ocean eyes making ten-feet tall waves" is such a great line that maybe you should make that the first verse?

Really love the chorus ideas of forcing hope, and the reason: cause I don't know how to make you listen to me.  Cool stuff!  Also I agree with Forest and Dove's comment about the ocean eyes line.  (BTW, I remember skeleton - and your artwork is so cool.)

It's powerful to follow your thoughts and feelings down the rabbit hole. I love the homage to your earlier song, that's pretty self aware! I gotta' try that.

*you might remember an old song by me called Skeleton, which actually sounds quite similar to this one. I realized about that while I was writing it, so I decided to include this little reference. In this context, "don't let me be a skeleton again" would mean "please don't let me be the idiot I was before when I thought I was entitled to do something wrong in the name of love" which is the main theme behind the song Skeleton.
