i love the heuballern stage and was so happy to play there for the second time. i wanted to toy with the fact that things were a bit muddy that weekend, so i played lots of moist bassy vibes mixed with squishy clubby sounds. and ofc lots of UKG sprinkled in there to represent the irregular steps one must take to maneuver themselves through the mud. a mixed bag of genres for festival season.

and i was so happy when someone from the crowd came up to me and said how they could tell i was telling a bit of a story through my selections. i felt so see when they share this with me because it's what i try to do with each and every set that i plan. <3 thank you kind stranger. and thank you to all of the cuties who showed up to dance. much love and see you on the next dancefloor.

Die Pferde wurden gesattelt, die Hüte aufgesetzt und die Cowgirl-Stiefel angezogen – am 19.09. verwandelte sich die ROSA in eine waschechte Pferderennbahn!

Im Sattel saßen: die großartige Frida Smits vom Rivals Rave aus Rostock und Newcomer DJ Waschbecken. Gemeinsam mit den Residents Two Girls One Horse (Thyrie b2b Bertha) wurde durch die Nacht zum Tag, kein Lagerfeuer zur Rast war nötig.

Gouverneurin Elaine Marley und eine vegetarische Kannibalen-Ananas schwammen mit den Feuerquallen zum Geisterriff. Hein und der Käpt'n warteten bereits. Sie trafen eine ravende Meerhexe, viel Sekt auf Eis und am Ende des Weges sogar Guybrush Threepwood (1 mächtiger Pirat)

Was das alles zu bedeuten hat, das wissen wir auch nicht genau.

Aus einem kleinen Dorf namens Böhl Iggelheim in drr Pfalz aber wohnhaft in Berlin

Wie lange legst du schon auf?
Seit fast genau 2 Jahren 

Wie war dein Weg bisher?
Alles hat mit einem DJ workshop bei Femquency angefangen! Mit Workshopteilnehmenden habe ich das Kollektiv  Velvet Kitchen gegründet und seither ist sooo viel passiert! Ich durfte beim CSD auf dem Wagen vor tausenden Menschen spielen, auf meiner Lieblingsparty Gegen zweimal
im Kitkat auflegen sogar auf dem Whole Festival den Samstag auf der Arena Stage eröffnen. Stuttgart, Leipzig, Hamburg, Paris und baldig Köln und Lyon. Ich bin so unglaublich dankbar fuer diese Reise.  Meine Sets sind treibend, emotional und nur Tracks die ich Liebe. Ich schreibe meine Liebesgeschichte auf der Tanzfläche. Danke Femquency ihr habt mein Leben verändert!

Was ist dir an einem Safespace wichtig?
Das jede Person anwesend sich sicher fühlen kann und akzeptiert.

Here's the live recording of my first vinyl-only set at KUR11.

With all its rough edges, needle jumps, minor mishaps, over motivated backspins and DJ beat salad 😉. I was so nervous… Things don't always go perfectly smoothly on vinyl. 
Anyway I had the best support from all my friends in the KUR collective and a packed dance floor with the best sound and light! One of the best events so far.
