Biography
I love to play music. Which means you join a band and write songs and practice and get gigs at clubs and play and have fun and man thats a lot to do to play music for people. So, this is my new band Los Grackles. We don't rehearse. We just play. We play the juke joint blues. We don't want to play clubs. We won't invite you to come to our gig. We won't post flyers. We won't invite you to our kickstarter page. We just play on the street or in small gatherings. We are bringing it to the street. This drum kit is the bands kit. It's drummers include: Sal Torneo, Clay Stinnett & Chad Litersky. Harmonica players include: Hector Castillon & Harry Hoggard. This band is very organic. Whoever is available will be sitting in. It is all about the music and having fun. 

the owl and the octopus has two "ways" of working; 1) audio collages using found sounds, snippets from past improvs, field recordings, etc... and 2) minimalist improvs, usually on location and with one instrument. 

Early influences from rock, metal and blues, later branching out into solo instrumental guitar (as well as multi-instrumental) and folk music from around the world.
