Grey Matter is a raw, lyrical hip-hop crew from Dallas, TX that mixes catchy hooks with insightful lyrics over beats that will make your head nod. Grey Matter dives deep into the grey area of life that most artists are afraid to touch. Whether the subject is spiritual, political, or socially controversial, the music speaks to listeners from all walks of life.  Grey Matter pairs old-school artistry with the drive to push the boundaries of modern music by combining hip-hop with rock, pop, and even EDM. 
 
Grey Matter consists of three parts: lead MC Kilo Art-of-Fact, who was born in Chile under a brutal dictatorship, which eventually led his family to Dallas. DJ/Producer Buddha Fingers provides the beats, and hype man JG keeps the crowd thirsting for more. After working independently on many solo projects, the three friends decided to combine forces. The outcome is something better than they ever expected. The group's local buzz continues to grow, thanks to their electrifying live shows and features in countless blogs and online articles—Too Fresh Productions named Grey Matter their Breakthrough Act of 2013, and GhettoManga.com says Grey matter "has the goods in both lyrics and performance."
