Panophonic- Endlessly

LUCKYandLOVE is an American music duo originally from Silverlake, California, formed in 2014 and consisting of Loren Luck (drums, synths) and April Love (vocals, keyboards, guitar). The band name was inspired by the called The Good Luck bar, where the two met in 2006.  Several mai tai's later, Loren started a music label, and played drums for April's original band, later two rented out a warehouse in DTLA, built a personal skate ramp, screen printed glow in the dark wedding posters and launched www.luckyandlove.com. Graphic designers by day, they decided to throw out ball and chain laptops forever and just play some dirty, lo-fi electronica.

The band defines their music as electro rock, dream pop, electronica and synth gaze, and others have described their sound as "electrowave, indie-tronica". According to Loren, their music has "lots of LFO, riveting arpeggiations, simutaneous solos via spacey square waves, with April's smokey vocals.  

April and Loren were inspired by artists including: Cocteau Twins, New Order, LadyTron, LeTigre, OMD, Depeche Mode, Phantogram, Washed Out, Tycho and PJ Harvey.

Their self titled debut LP was written when they moved next to a noisy construction site in Glendale California, recorded at Eagle Rock's Cave Studio with Josiah Mazzaschi (Light Fm), sessions with sound editor Morgen Stary, Comp-ny studio with Grammy winner Be Hussey (Guides) and mastered by Kevin Gray (engineer of Vangelis's Blade Runner's 2013 reissue).

Their 8 song vinyl debut record got picked up to be distributed globally with Southern Record Distributors and will be available in a record store near you on Friday, June 30th, 2017  

They currently write and record in their music studio in Echo Park, Ca. The band has released several singles (Sexy in 2015, You'll Never Know in 2015, and Venus in 2016) and their self titled LP on vinyl and is scheduled to record tracks with producer John Fryer (Nine Inch Nails, Cocteau Twins, His Name is Alive) dropping more singles later in 2017.
