Got this feeling, grips my mind,
Wanna slide down the shower-wall sometimes.

People split, different states of mind,
And leave their ring and keys behind.

And your life becomes a word
On the tip of nobody’s tongue.

No tool-box can fix this wrong –
You’re just a prisoner in the tower of song.

The only by-pass for where you’ve been before
Is the 2-way traffic inside your door.

So talk it up, don't talk it down –
Yesterday's a trick, like the tears of a clown.

Hope and despair both lay their claim
But in the end only love sustains.

And this is all I have to say –
Tomorrow won’t come if you stand in its way.
