Members Mike Cota and Genesis Vasquez came out of El Paso TX with a mission to find some flare and sparkle in music, bringing Delia  Rosado(Dallas) , David Olivenbaum (Austin) and Charles Cotton (California)to create The Midnight Drive in  Austin Tx  in 2015.

We are always inspired by our own life experiences. From our lyrics to our drumbeats, we incorporate our hardships, joys, and passion for music.

We bring you sounds  from bands like Glass Candy, to The XX, the Alabama Shakes to Queens of the Stone Age. If you like a little of everything,  we welcome you to join our journey in sound discovery in the indie/alt/rock scene.

A joint, multidimensional effort between KVRX and TSTV to bring to the Austin community a live radio and TV broadcast. Bands are booked for a session weekly every Sunday to be aired and filmed that night live. Show runs 10-11pm and includes an interview along with the act’s performance.

This started out as a form of Therapy for me and is a hobby that has become a passion of mine. Its helped me get through times of great sadness, and everytime someone is able to relate or enjoy my music i hope that it can help them out the way that making it helped me.

My name is Jeremy and I write music as Buhu. Sometimes I perform with my wife, Tiffany. Writing music has become a ritual I use to analyze my existence and better myself. I am consistently concerned with opening up my life and exploring the depths (and shallows) of my being. Music has provided me a needed outlet to be vulnerable about my faults, dreams and feelings. I am thankful for finding my voice. I am thankful for my passion in creating and I am thankful for my openness to evolution of process. Through it, I have found my providence. The resulting compositions of which celebrate my loves, losses, excavations and observations of the natural. I don’t expect my songs to have popular effect or to be celebrated, but I release them to all who will listen, and I am profoundly moved by anyone who finds value in my music. 
 
I will be releasing the Providence EP winter 2020.
