This is our arrangement for the David Bowie hit 'Starman'. We tried to give it a different edge; slow it down and just use piano bass and vocals. The original is amazing and in my book you can't top a Bowie song. As always we tried to do it justice whilst maintaining the structure and ethos of the song. We hope you like it but understand that it won't be everyones' cup of tea. All hail the Bowie!

Wild is the Wind, our version of the arrangement David Bowie performed at the Mobi Awards some years ago. Lots of artists have covered this song and it's been around since the mid fifties, but this version grabbed me the moment i heard it and we just had to have a go. Hope you like it.

Life On Mars (Coldfire)

This is a collaboration of Loving The Alien, and probably my favourite version of this song. My mate Keith is an incredibly talented musician and he did the music for this plus the backing vocals; so he deserves most, if not all of the credit. We went to the studio and did a live recording of 5 songs. This was one of my favourites. Yes there are mistakes and it could have been done better but we needed a new demo disc and there is no point in giving people an over produced sound so when you turn up on the night they think it's a different band lol. Anyway, always open to any help, advice or suggestions etc.

Shoe Shop Head Trauma

We are a Community Band of all ages from all walks of life. A lot of us started off a bunch of alcoholics and drug addicts trying to keep clean and sober by using music as a means of therapy. We now have many members from all sorts of backgrounds  and we all (although many have no addiction) are happy to work with the emphasis of sobriety within our group.
Almost all our events are held in alcohol and drug free surroundings hence forth we have become very family orientated. 
Our group members as range from 3 to about 75.
We play lots of events within the community and we are totally self-funded up til now (February 2019)
some of us have been together since Keith started a charity band way back in 2003. 
The band was originally called The Box of Frogs who wrote and recorded their own album.
The MInnesota Module are currently preparing to record another album of original material, but in the meantime enjoy some covers while we fine tune our skills. 
Most of the players in the band join with no musical ability whatsoever and we welcome any of you just as long as you can do it without booze or drugs.
The only requirement is to be able to listen, the rest you can learn.
