Don’t Wanna Dance - Single

After a traumatic experience, I wrote “Raising the White Flag” to reclaim my power. I used mantras and Indian instrumentation to bring a meditative Hindu sound into a Western alt-pop context, creating my own sonic identity as an Indian British woman. Avoiding pain doesn't help to let go, sometimes we have to surrender.
