frank sebastian: Very happy. I’m in the middle of the production of my new Album and it feels good. I’m very excited.

We are introducing Progressive House Axe, a Production Template we designed to show you the fundamentals of Progressive tracks. We want to give you as many recourses as possible to make you a better Progressive House music producer and have fun doing it! 

Progressive House Axe is a full Construction Kit that comes in the key of “Fm” and a 128 BPM tempo. This is the typical tempo for Progressive House music, the key was just what we thought sounded good. In this template you get the Stems of the track we created, the Presets used in the project (for this one we used Sylenth1), the MIDI for at the stems so you can create your own version of the project with your own sounds, and an FLP (Fruity Loops Project) of the project so you can see exactly how it was created with the mixer and master channels. 

The FLP shows the exact project we created. You can look at things in the mixer to see how we did our mix down and exactly how we mastered the track. You can see what effects we used on our instruments and copy them if you like them as well as see our arrangement process. There are so many things to learn from this Construction Kit it’s insane!

Sander Bastiaans, also known as 'TheMisticum' , was born in 1993 in the Netherlands and is a talented producer/composer/sounddesigner.

Around July 2011, he realized that having your own style not only means the melodies, but also having a unique sound and from that moment he started with sound design beginning to experiment with a plugin called Sylenth1.
Soon after that, he began to develop a new side of him, a dark side.

Because Sander was a fanatic game player earlier, played games like Call of Duty, Resident Evil, Diablo, Doom and alot more, it inspired him alot.
Also Horror music like '' Midnight Syndicate'' and Dark Ambient producers had a great influence on him.

Although he had many inspirations, Rachet & Clank was his greatest.
He is a great fan of the game and music and if he should describe it, it would be a mixture between jazz, Octotonic music and film music with a great balance between acoustic, electronic instruments and a uptempo breakbeat with simple but effective drumloops.

3 years later, composing is a big part of his life.
He musical interest now is very wide, variating from jazz to classical music, from trance to horror and a lot more.

Recently, he discovered that many of the music he loves uses the Octatonic tonescale, so now he is gonna focus on that particulair tonescale while composing his music.
