Christian Smith is one of the world’s leading exponents of techno, both as a DJ and producer he is always bold and innovative. With his output in recent years it is hard to imagine a list of prolific producers without his name towards the top. He has been at the top of his game for over two decades with his trademark groovy techno.

Although Swedish by birth, Christian spent most of his childhood years in Frankfurt, Germany which no doubt played an unexpected role in determining his musical tastes from a young age. After spending time in the US studying, Christian moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil playing the best clubs in the city and surrounding regions, where he still loves to play today and continues to have a very big following.

In 1995 he started his label Tronic, since then it has dominated the charts with releases from Christian himself and the likes of ANNA, Enrico Sangiuliano, Paco Osuna, Drunken Kong, Wehbba, Ramon Tapia, and more. The label has been the top selling techno label in the world according to Beatport, and is soon to celebrate its 500th release.
Tronic also has a weekly show which is now syndicated to over 100 stations worldwide, their 500th show was celebrated with special guest Carl Cox and now in 2022, they are already fast approaching the 600th episode.

Christian has dominated the charts and DJ’s playlists with a steady flow of releases on many high profile labels like Drumcode, Filth On Acid, Trick, Symbolism, Bedrock, and Tronic. His last EP on Tronic reached #1 spot on Beatport in both Techno and Electro in January of 2024. During the pandemic, Christian had a weekly Tronic Thursday stream which has reached over 10M people. On the remix front, Christian has recently reworked a track by UK hip hop superstar "Stormzy". His music is regularly featured on Spotify's biggest playlists and Christian is currently enjoying a big boost in his career.

Christian also ventured into his own branded night in Ibiza at mega club Eden. His first season on the Island in 2019 had 15 consecutive weeks of events and was a huge success. Christian was also invited to host Tronic events all over the world from Tokyo, Detroit, Los Angeles, and London amongst many others.

His modelling carreer is also said to take off soon, marking his transition from wanna-be model to the real deal in supermarket fashion!

Dedicated to playing and producing the highest quality electronic music with over two decades of experience, DJ/producer and label owner Eddie Niguel first cut his teeth in the clubs and festivals of his native Singapore playing alongside the likes of Answer Code Request, Adam Beyer, Clive Henry, Dave Angel, Deetron, KiNK, Recondite, Redshape, Rodhad, Mike Huckaby, Nicolas Matar and Steve Lawler, never failing to work the crowd with his excellent mixing ability and unique style.

In the studio, Niguel’s releases on labels such as HEY! Records, Midnight Shift, Dig Deeper, Get Physical and his own Integrity imprint has left an indelible mark on the electronic music spheres. Releases such as the recent “Back2Basics”, underground ear worm hit “Absolute”, the Journey’s “City 2 City” and the anthemic “The Warehouse” crossed over multiple dance floors, festivals and DJ mixes worldwide including the Essential BBC Radio 1 shows with KiNK, Disclosure and Heidi. 

In 2016, Niguel launched his own record label, 'Integrity'. What started out as a personal outlet to release his own material has since evolved into an artist centric label that have featured both emerging and established international artists such as Tony Lionni, Whitesquare, Kiko Navarro, Copy Paste Soul, Dachshund, The Model, Kocleo and David Jackson to name a few. The labels releases have been supported by the likes of Leftfield, Ame, Laurent Garnier, Marcel Dettmann, DJ Bone, Danny Tenaglia, DJ T, Josh Wink, Dixon, MANDY, Maya Jane Coles, Anja Schneider, Maceo Plex, Kolsch, Truncate, Dubspeeka, Joris Voorn, Dusky, Henry Saiz, Shadow Child, Citizenn, Fabrice Lig, 2000 And One, The Drifter and many others.

Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.
