The Mono Jacks are four-piece hailing from Romania. Their visceral, indie-inflected wall of sound brings to mind Interpol, Editors or The National. Based in Bucharest, The Mono Jacks exploded onto the Romanian music scene few years ago with exciting and intense live performances, which defied expectations, grabbed the imagination of fans and critics alike, and made them one of the most acclaimed new Romanian acts.
 
Their seductive and incendiary post-rock rhythms carry traces of ‘90s alternative and the band's contagious live chemistry makes for some of the best gigs in Romania today. Not to mention that a few of the band’s songs topped local alternative charts.

Known for their energetic performances and contagious live chemistry, the 4-piece took to the stages of most local festivals, as well as the likes of EXIT (RS), Sziget (HU) and Eurosonic (NL) and they shared the local venues with the likes of Suede, The Cranberries or No Age.
